This is a good hotel. Our shower was nice, the beds were nice, the breakfast was nice, the people were nice, the room was quiet, and we really were on the side of a lake, right past the lawn out our window. And, it's only a half hour from the airport. Most of the respectable establishments that are available on a week's notice cost twice as much as Lakeside Inn. From reading the reviews, it seems our room was better than some others, especially in the past, maybe a renovation in progress? Judging from our experience, you should stay here.

Worst place to stay First of all i want to say that there is no elevator. The ice machine is always broken. The shower curtain isn’t big enough both for height and width water comes out all over. They don’t have cleaning daily or even bring you clean towels or bath supplies. The phone in the room doesn’t work to call the front desk. But the biggest problem was that 2 out of the 3 nights they have music blasting till almost midnight from the bar and we couldn’t sleep. Will never go back there again.

Lakeside Inn Visiting Boston and needed a reasonable place to crash for the night. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and front desk staff very helpful. When I went to get the ice bucket filled, a member of the bar staff offered to fill it for me, which was very nice of them. Checkout was quick and efficient with free coffee and cookies. We didn't have time to see the view of the lake, will leave that for next time!

If it wasn't for the views... I went for the amenities and view & only found the view to be anything wonderful and the naming of the duck. Had booked for 3 days and by day 1, I was ready to go before we got into our room. Had to pay to change rooms to have a refrigerator for an "upgraded" price, which we had just bought groceries & the front desk clerk held my credit card. It set the tone for the whole trip.

Always a good place to stay when we visit the grands! We really just love staying here. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. the beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. We enjoy the lake view when we can. I think there used to be a fire pit with chairs out on the lakeside but I'm not sure those are there any more... would like them back :) They always give us a first floor room since we have a little trouble with stairs. Haven't done the happy hour or the food yet but maybe next time. Our son and his family live in town so we stay at the Lakeside whenever we visit.
