Here to judge a BBQ contest If I could give 3.5 stars, that would be more appropriate . Good location, nothing unsafe about the place, and close to several eating establishments. The room is clean and cool in this Texas heat. The desk clerk was very friendly The downsides are a continental breakfast, quite a bit of road noise (I always bring ear plugs), and a shower with no handhold for us senior's. The shower was frozen into the shower only mode. Just little distractions. Would I stay here again? Probably. The price is right.

DANGEROUS HOTEL! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! DO NOT STAY HERE!! This place is not safe! Someone tried breaking in to our room at 4AM and management yelled at us for calling 911 because he “doesn’t need to be questioned”. It’s also dirty and loud

They are theifs! Housekeeping entered my room to clean even though they were told not to on multiple occasions. My work phone was missing and my blinds were left wide open for everyone walking by to see inside. My charger was left in the room and I confirmed the same day that it was left at the front desk. I made a formal complaint about my work phone being stolen and I only got a "promise" that no on took my phone. I worked Friday and Saturday morning so I know it was there. It was also confirmed in writing my charger was there but when I arrived it was not there and they are doing nothing to recover any of the missing items. I have never dealt with this type of poor hotel management or customer service.

Looking good I used to stay at this Inn for 8 weekends in a Oct/Nov about 6 and 7 years ago. The new owners had just taken it over and it was a marginal property at best. It was cheap and dependable and they were friendly so I kept coming back. I was very happy to see that here has been a vast upgrade to the property. The rooms have been totally cleaned and redone. New furnishings and bedding and fixtures. It is still a 30-40 year old building but the room was very nice. I can recommend the Inn with knowledge that folks will be comfortable and get good service. The price has risen to help cover the upgrades I guess. Nothing special that weekend that I knew of that would drive the price up. Brings my "Value" rating down but you do not have many options in the area. Wi-Fi was just fine and breakfast offering is your normal weak ABV fair. Yes I will go back when the Renaissance Festival calls.

Waller American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure was the reason I stay there once a year. I could have done without the noisy neighbors getting it on last night in bed. For some reason some alarm went off in the room at 4am, it wasn't the alarm clock.
