Disappointing Bottom Line: Comparing this hotel to others in the area at similar or lower price points, I would not recommend this one. It does not excel in really any category if you're going to a convention. Don't show up early for check in unless you want to be charged, don't expect much from free breakfast. The problems started at check-in, showing up at about 1:30pm on a busy weekend, I was told showing up a few hours early would result in a $25 early check-in fee. I've never been charged for early check-in in my life (including at Hilton locations), let alone at any of the nearby hotels in past years. You'd think on very busy weekends they'd want to incentivize getting people into rooms as they come rather than all showing up at the same time, it just felt very nickel-and-dimey. If you are going to go here, don't plan on showing up to check in before 4 I guess. I requested a tub and didn't get one, it's a relatively small thing but I knew they had tubs from the pictures but how many and the chances of getting one even if you ask? Hard to say. The free breakfast is only slightly better than most breakfast buffets, but it is free without a lot of hassle. The "made to order" part is just eggs or omelettes so if you're really into those every morning it might not be so bad. The rest is pretty standard buffet fare. If you actually want a freshly made waffle or something you have to go elsewhere. The rooms are what you'd expect from a suite- decently large with a large couch and separate TV for the sitting area. The extra size is really the only thing that makes it a suite though, as you can see from the photos there is nothing to cook with and the fridge is a mini-fridge. Overall, a standard hotel room with standard amenities, but larger. There is also windows (with closable curtains) looking out into the hallway, which means people can also potentially look into your hotel room from the hallway. I'm not sure who this appeals to, but it made me feel just a bit more on edge even if you can shut the curtains up tight. The staff also reached out by text message and gave me a chance to at least relay some of my concerns/disappointment, but after doing so they did not respond or try to reach back out to me. Just an extra disappointment to ask about problems and never respond, even if there was realistically nothing they could do. Overall, not much recommends this hotel against nearby competition, everything considered.

Disappointing experience I have stayed at other Embassy Suites in the past so I was looking forward to a comfortable stay. However I was disappointed The stay started off on the wrong foot upon checking in. The weekend staff was not professional and seemed almost bothered that I interrupted their socialization to check us in. I was not given any information about the hotel in regards to breakfast and such. Our room lacked any literature about the hotel. Therefore I consulted their website. According to their website breakfast is served 6:30-10:30. However when I entered the dinning area at 9:45 am Monday morning I was told breakfast ended at 9:30. Frustrated I asked the front desk about the hours and explained my disappointment. The clerk was unsympathetic and suggested I check out Starbucks across the street. I will not be staying at Embassy Suits for my future travels.

Very Nice Stay Everything was nice and clean and you have everything you need here. The rooms are very accommodating with all the necessities that you need. Hot cooked made to order breakfast was awesome and thanks to the staffing in all areas. Great transportation all around to help you get to where you’re going. Stacie and her team needs a raise,

Very Nice Stay Check-n and parking were smooth. Michael at the front desk was nice, and let my daughter choose what floor we stayed on. Solomon and Emile helped with our car and luggage, and were great. Our room had a nice view, and there was plenty of space for the four of us. We did notice a few areas that could have been cleaned better (the shower, bathroom floor, and we found a random sock under the curtain), but overall, it was clean. Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. We did a ton of walking during our visit, and the hotel was in the perfect location for us. Two-thumbs-up for the music selection throughout the building. It’s the first time we’ve ever wanted to stay in an elevator because of the music, and we overheard other guests commenting positively as well. We would stay here again.
