Grand Hyatt - DC Grand Hyatt accommodated my request the day before my arrival for an additional night. This is the hotel we stay at when visiting DC. Has a Metro in the same building and easy access to all sites. The hotel is in the process of a remodel but you don’t even know it. Our remodelled room was done to a very high standard. There is an upscale bar/restaurant on site but we have not tried it yet. We like to explore local restaurants. There also is a Starbucks on site for quick coffee or mufffin.

Excellent location, staff and environment Choose the Hyatt as that was where the meeting was but would come back and chose the same place on any vacation that I may take to Washington DC. They even handled a Union protest efficiently and professionally.

Never got a microwave Hotel is awesome and well kept. Clean and well situated in DC. Only gripe I have is that I asked for a microwave and was told they would send one to the room. I never got it. The next day I called the front desk and was told they don't provide microwaves. I had to use one on the 1st floor and then carry a HOT plate all the way back to the 12th floor. Was never able to find out if in room microwaves are available. Lady on check out just gave me a few points on my account, which is appreciated. But never answered my question about being able to get a in room microwave. Guess next time I'll bring my own...

Metro station on site Super nice and clean. My family thought it was great. No Complaints. Love having the subway so close.

Hotel for Conference The hotel was in a great location it was only a 13-minute walk to the White House. The hotel also had many conference rooms, and the staff were very friendly. Also, the food at the conference was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel for a conference. Overall, great hotel, great, staff, and great vibes.
