The worst experience ever!!!!! This was the worse experience I have ever received from any Hotel. This was the stay from hell. I'm a single mom who wanted to do something special for my son. Making a reservation here was my first mistake. My son wanted a Hotel with WI-FI (so he can play his game) and a pool. The first room we were given was dirty, couldn't connect to the wi-fi and the TV HDMI connect was missing. My family and I were given another room which wasn't any better. The room smelled, the cabinet where the refrigerator sit was missing and there was a homeless man sleeping outside of our window. The Wi-Fi didn't work for my son PS5 and the pool was dirty/ had entirely to much chlorine in it. The refrigerator started to defrost and messed my son cake up. The chlorine was still burning my son eyes the next day. My family and I ended up leaving 6hrs after we checked in. I was told I would get a refund for my stay. I didn't. Instead they charge my card double for the room causing my checking account to go into the negative. I was bounced from one voice mail to another. I finally got to speak with someone in accountant and that didn't go anywhere the lady hung up on me. I still don't have a resolution and I'm now out of almost $700.

Great Location Beautiful place we stayed 2 nights and loved it walked to the Washington Monument and all over the room was beautiful never had and problems other that our view was in the back of the hotel but wasn't an issue. would defiantly stay here again the free breakfast was great they cooked it for you on the spot if wanted and they had plenty to choose from as well

George and Jahmal were awesome! George and Jahmal at the front desk were helpful, understanding, and very accommodating! They went above and beyond to help a weary traveler and I appreciated it. Their service was quick and delivered with a nice sense of humor. I'd definitely book there again!

Nice Stay Recently stayed for two nights in July 2024. Nice Hilton Garden Inn - within walking distance to the Mall and White House. There is a Metro station literally across the street. Our room was quiet, clean and the AC worked great. We stashed our bags here while exploring before catching a late flight. Did not use the shop in the lobby or eat any meals at the hotel. There is a CVS one block down that is convenient.

Great location and great clean room. Great staff. We booked online with our Hilton app. Upon arrival valet helped us with our luggage and assorted us to the front desk. We were not able to get the room with a tub, BUT THAT OK. I want to say that “ Abe “ checked us in and I’m not sure if that was his name, but I will tell you that he really made sure we had what we needed and made up for not having the tub. He was apologetic and offered us free parking for our stay ( it’s usually 50.00 per day in DC next to the WH) and upgraded us to a suite. I’m disabled and needed the tub, but I found that the upgraded room was even better because the shower head was adjustable and the room was comfortable. Housekeeping was very nice. We were in 701 and however the housekeeping was for the week of July 1-3, she was great. Give her a raise please.
