Gem of a historic hotel This is a splendid historic/boutique inn at a very good location. We were able to walk easily to subway and bus stops as we explored the city. The neighborhood was safe and clean, away from heavy foot traffic. You are welcomed at the door with a friendly smile, and everyone working in the lobby - the doormen, the front desk, the bartenders - are all very welcoming and make you feel comfortable. The lobby is well designed with the Chinese motif here and there, and there's a large and beautiful courtyard adjoining. We were able to keep our luggage in the storeroom since we arrived early. It was an extremely hot weekend in DC and we were offered ice cold water immediately and they kept a supply for us in the room. The room had a nice desk and a refrigerator in the wardrobe, as well as a very comfortable bed and nice linens. Our room was a good size with a double bed, very clean. We appreciated the always-available cold water with fruit in the lobby as well as coffee and tea set up in the mornings. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if visiting.

Kind and clean Super clean and spacious suite overlooking the courtyard. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the beautiful dining room. The location is quiet and convenient as we rode our bikes all over town. The best part is how kind EVERYONE is. We felt the love, and will definitely be returning. If you want to feel cared for make this your place! A+++

Great location and appealing but room was ridiculously small Arrived late and got a tiny room on the ground floor. I mean tiny. No desk, no chair, just a queen bed. For a quick stay, it was manageable, but for anything longer than 12 hours, it was ridiculous. I had breakfast in the morning and it was above average. Worth considering but the room size has to change for me to return.

Cute and cozy Fully renovated! Small and cozy. Breakfast was reasonably priced and tasty. The staff was friendly. Very clean. Fresh frette towels! They always opened the door when we went in and out of the hotel. Good food menu at the bar too and reasonably priced. Location close to National park! Constructive: I will preface this with my boyfriend is a meticulous plumber. 1) toilet see although a Kholer one, was crocked. 2) the shower had a piece that was not done properly and of course he decided he needed to fix it 3) With frette towels - was disappointed that the products were bath and body works :(

Loved it Really liked what an amazing job they did at this hotel from an historic building to what it is now Great stay and great value Location ok , i walked to old ebbitt grill by white house in 10 mins or so Well worth a stay and staff great too Rooms good recommended
