The Only Place to Stay When in DC I had a fantastic stay at The OMNI Shoreham Hotel. The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a great location. The food was delicious and the pool and gardens were very relaxing. But the best part of my stay was the staff, one person in particular was Cristal at the front desk. She went above and beyond what I expected. I hope the upper management reads this review, she deserves a promotion and raise! Thank you again to the entire staff that made my stay memorable. This is why I stay at Omni Hotels where ever I travel.

Hauntingly Beautiful Absolutely LOVED this place. Chase Justice greated us with a great attitude and made sure we had everything we needed. He checked us out as well and we had a great conversation with him and Cristal Phillips. Amazing customer service for sure. The hotel is beautiful with a haunting past. If you love spooky vibes with an Alice in Wonderland twist this is your spot. Gardens, pathways, and a zoo behind ya. What more can you ask for!

Do not reccomend First the vents over the check-in counter are leaking moldy water on people and they are at the desk. Second, no one sent the Pre-authorization on Sunday per our request. The valet parking only option should be noted when making the reservation. Once we get the car back from the Valet, it was obvious that someone had gone through the center counsel. The Valet driver drove the car too fast and scraped the ground coming out of the area. The food at the cafe was wrong almost every time we ordered. The last time it made us sick. (frappe) Then no one called the room or cell phones to let us know there was an issue with no payment on file because the pre-authorization wasn't sent. We were in the room all evening. They sent a man to our room at 11PM at night knocking on the door to tell us to call the main desk. The man had a hotel key card in his had with our room number on a sticky note. We were woken from sleep to this. This did not seem like a safe situation and made us worry and unable to sleep further because would that man have entered our room if we did not answer. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was also checking out in the lobby and the "manager" said that nothing has been paid and we could not leave. It was determined that again no one had sent the pre-authorization email to my employer. I also overheard another guest who was upset because while their car was parked with the mandatory valet overnight 3 windows were smashed on their car. They were not getting adequate service for this at all.

Terrible Service-unauthorized charges Had 2 massages scheduled, called and asked to reschedule the appt. Was told that they couldn’t change the appt and that we had to keep the appt because it was too late to cancel and they were going to charge the card. They asked did we get the email about cancellation policy. They never sent us an email about this and could not produce evidence that they had sent it to me. (Because they didn’t). We stayed there 4 days, ate onsite, etc and they quarreled w/us about rescheduling 2 massages. We wanted to reschedule, not cancel. The front desk was no help. They passed the buck by saying that’s the spa and they have diff management and they couldn’t do anything about it. So they charged my card on file over $300 for massages we never received and were not allowed to reschedule. The service was terrible and we were made to feel like we were trying to get over when we were never given any cancellation info. I called almost a week ahead of our stay from another state to book those massages and can’t believe how we were treated. I would not recommend this spa resort to anyone as they quarreled w/ us for 3 days about a policy they never disclosed on a get a way that was supposed to be for wellness and self care and they made our stay quite hectic w/ the back and forth calls.

Police Report filed after 1 night stay to report joyriding valet Unfortunately, after staying at this hotel for a single night, I had to file a police report. I also plan to report my experience to Omni corporate, simply so this does not happen to any other customer. A valet driver took my car and drove it over 30 miles in the middle of the night without my consent, even leaving behind some of their belongings (such as their phone charger and partially eaten Cheez-its bag) in my car. After spending more than 2 hours on the phone with lots of deflecting from responsible parties I was left with no option but to file a report in case any crime occurred while the vehicle was not in my possession. While Omni staff seemed understanding, I was told that I would still be on the hook for valet charges and spent several hundred dollars on a 1 night stay, meant to be a restful rejuvenation. I have never left a hotel feeling so personally violated. I would strongly, strongly, discourage anyone from staying here or at the very least trusting the staff with your vehicle or any of your personal belongings.
