Quick trip to DC Front desk staff was wonderful. Friendly and ready to assist you in any way to ensure an extraordinary stay. Room was spotless and had a great night sleep. Wish the lounge had been open .. but I guess that’s because of covid. Restaurant was open for breakfast and we had great service and a nice breakfast. Definitely a historic iconic hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Dingy hotel in need of refinement Not many great things to say, but I’ll start with the positives: - Good Location: 15 walk to White House and 20 min walk to Mall and Georgetown neighborhood. - Staff was friendly - Housekeeping was prompt with tidying room But much to be improved upon… - Our room was a combined unit 2-bedroom suite. The furniture is old and faded and sofa fabric torn. The air conditioners are window units (one was broken when we arrived). The hotel does not offer in-room coffee, nor does it offer glassware. The plastic cups that were offered were sometimes broken, resulting in leaks. - Hotel front desk would not exchange my large dollar bills due to cashless protocols because of Covid. When I asked how I could tip the housekeeping staff, they suggested that I go to a nearby Starbucks and buy a cup of coffee (hotel offers free coffee in the lobby in the morning) and request small-dollar change. This, to me, was a silly idea and it is shameful that the hotel could not suggest a more reasonable way for its staff to be tipped for their service. Next time, please place a venmo qr code in the room and allow for easier tipping. - Edgar Restaurant was always an unpleasant experience—too many tiny flies and mosquitos hovering about. Also, would be nice if lunch items were available on weekends and not just weekends (brunch menu was very limited)

Over priced for below average hotel. Bar is nice, lobby is cool. Staff not very helpful. Paid for a king. Got a queen. Room was dirty. Worse is the parking. Paid 50 a night to park then each time to get my car was 40 min of fighting with them. One time they made me walk underground and get it myself. Save yourselves the trouble and hit up W. Wish I had done it from the start.

Beautiful but lacking in service, caring, assistance. Marriott VC said "not their problem" no refund. Left for Hilton No amenities. No coffee in room or on floor, no club lounge (not enough interest), no on-site laundry. The offense was Marriott Vacation Club Executive Owner Services said it wasn't their problem. Not a resort like you might expect so shouldn't expect amenities! Paying equivalent of $280/night, and Marriott didn't have the courtesy of giving me some meager Bonvoy points to mollify a 35-year owner.

Loved It! We had a fantastic stay at the beautiful Mayflower Hotel. We stay on the seventh floor which is owned by Marriott Vacation Club. We had booked a very roomy junior suite. We had a large living area with a dining table, a master bedroom with a king size bed and two full size bathrooms. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very nice. Loved having two separate bathrooms, his and hers! Surprisingly, we had maid service everyday. Many hotels are not offering maid service at this time. Unfortunately, the club lounge was not opened at this time. The hotel is centrally located and easy walking distance to many attractions. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. She gave us great dining options. Her recommendations were just what we were looking for. Highly recommend staying at The Mayflower!
