Quick stop over in Georgetown Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, good pillows. On good bus route. Check in seamless with Arshel and great local knowledge and maps from Lizbeth. We were well looked after by a very attentive, curious and polite breakfast server. Only negative was the bar experience.

Wonderful Only positive feedback for this hotel! This was our second stay, and once again, we had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly attentive, and the room was spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable. We’ll definitely be returning!

Hospitality Mohammed was great! He helped me with everything he could(luggages, locations, hotel stuff) He made everything easier for me __ The hotel staff were all very kind. The room I stayed in was comfortable. Additionally, the organization and cleanliness of the hotel were really impressive. The staff do their jobs in the best and most proper way. As I mentioned, Muhammed made my stay here much easier. I want to give him a special thanks. He's a wonderful person and employee. ……..

Very Friendly Staff I was traveling with two of my children to DC to visit Georgetown University. The Melrose is a bit of a walk to Georgetown but it is doable. The hotel is medium sized as opposed to the large chain hotels you find in DC. The hotel is historic and very well maintained. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious. One issue we had was the double rooms have double rather than queen beds and can’t accommodate a roll away. My two teenage kids couldn’t share the bed. Lizbeth at the front desk was very understanding and upgraded our room. The friendliness and personal care of all the staff we encountered at the Melrose are really what set this hotel apart from the competition in DC.
