St. Regis is the best hotel in DC if you want a wonderful experience The St. Regis was the best! As an Ambassador Level Bonvoy member, this establishment is top notch and the service was impeccable. We were upgraded (through my suite option) to the Metropolitan Suite (room 704) and it was beautifully appointed, clean, spacious and just wonderful. The bathroom was very large and we had a beautiful tub as well. What made this hotel the best was the personnel. They made our stay amazing. Just so memorable. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to make this weekend the best (since we were celebrating our daughters MBA degree/graduation). They delivered cookies to our room at no cost, had chocolates and Voss water as a surprise gift for her graduation and also since I love coffee, had a Nespresso machine brought to the room so I could have coffee at any time. The concierge desk, Brian, went above and beyond to secure an afternoon tea reservation at the Mandarin Hotel (which was awesome). The front desk made sure our stay was perfect and just was a pleasure to work with. Jose, from the restaurant at breakfast, was so friendly and always made sure our “cup” of coffee and tea were never empty. He was a delight to see every morning. To say this hotel is definitely a top notch hotel is an understatement. They are the best and I look forward to returning to DC and staying here again. Thank you for making this weekend so memorable.

Disappointing 1 night stay in DC I have been very disappointed with the stay at this hotel. Already at time of check-in we were waiting for over 25mins to check-in. $65 parking rate for a +$400 room in my opinion is ridiculous. The bar that is advertised everywhere to close at 12AM, which I also double-confirmed at time of check-in, was closed at 11:05PM. We only spent 1 night in DC and wanted to enjoy a drink at the bar that night. It was always part of our plan to do so after dinner hence me ensuring multiple times it will be open, and it wasn't. At time of check-out I was initially charged for breakfast even though at time of booking I had already paid for it. I had to spot this and call it out on the bill after which I was still contested and had to show booking confirmation email to receive a voucher for the amount that was charged for breakfast. Breakfast was very poor, other than orange juice they had no fresh juices. They could not cook oatmeal fresh (with plant-based milk and cinnamon), only offer the batch-cook. I don't think to request an oatmeal with almond milk and cinnamon is such a huge request at a 5* hotel. It wasn't possible. Only the location is excellent about this hotel. Everything else is way below average - no where near to be at a 5* hotel service! Poor customer service, no value for money. You are only paying for the name.

Exquisite Stay! The St. Regis Washington DC delivers an exquisite experience that inspires you to return over and over again. The lobby, restaurant, and guest rooms exude classic luxury. I am continually awed by each department and team member — from valet, to concierge, front desk, housekeeping, bar/restaurant/private dining — their care and attention to detail truly elevates the experience. One of my top hotels in the District!

Its on Black Lives Matter Plaza I just want people to be aware of that fact since the night we arrived they closed off the street to repaint the lettering. I arrived for a wedding with a large group, including a wheel chair person. Getting luggage and wheelchairs into the hotel was a massive chore and we did not find that either the bellman or a doorman were readily available on numerous occasions. Based on the fact that there were many events that we had to come and go to, this was probably not the best choice for a hotel as the entrance is very difficult and the drive is often lined with backed up cars. The rooms were lovely and spacious although we had terrible troubles with the ADA room which had plumbing, tv, and lighting issues. This was a disappointment as anyone who has tried to make ADA reservations in advance knows it is time consuming, so to arrive and have an issue was too bad.

I would have given it 5 Stars if they did not charge m over $10 for a cup of tea to go Stayed here over the weekend and upgraded to the Caroline Astor Suite It is a regal hotel and a staff that is welcoming. Aisha at Reception was very helpful with checkin and follow up questions. Great location where you walk out the door and two blocks down is the White House. I would have given the hotel a 5 star rating if they did not charge me over $10 for a 8oz cup of tea to go . I hate being ripped off
