Our Entire Experience was Above and Beyond Excellent... We tend to always stay at the Westin Georgetown and are never disappointed. This time was an even BETTER experience. My wife and I travel to Washington D.C. every six months for busines. BUT.. this time our business trip coincided with our Anniversary. Before we arrived, I contacted Yarnell. Yarnell is in charge of "special events/ special operations". I explained that it would be great to surprise my wife if there was any way possible for us to stay in the Presedential Suite. She explained that the Presidential Suite actually is a "parlor" with adjoining rooms on either side. The parlor consists of a big room with couches, pool table (yes, a pool table!!), balconies, a service kitchen (no stove/oven). The left adjoining room is a King Suite (one king bed); the right adjoining room has Queen beds. Yarnell was able to get us the King Suite and the Presidential Suite. The rate was amazing! They also arranged to have a bottle of Champagne (Prosecco) waiting along with the flowers I ordered. When we walked in, the room was amazing!! The King Suite was very well laid out. The bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE. And every single thing in the room was immaculately clean. The bathroom was no exception. My wife loved that there was a European soaking tub (a deep tub) and I was happy to see that there was a shower with a rain head and detachable arm. The bathroom was also immaculately clean. Water pressure was excellent, as was water temp. My wife decided that she wanted to surprise me and she wanted to make reservations at different bars/restaurants around town that we had never been to before. She went to the front desk and spoke with whom I call, "Wonderful Michelle"! Michelle spent a good amount of time working with my wife to select the best places... AND Michelle called each of the three places we went to (The Hamilton, POV Rooftop Bar at W Hotel, and Georgetown Piano Bar) to make us reservations. Michelle was so very patient and helpful; just what one would expect from a top notch hotel such as the Georgetown Westin. Then came a minor problem that we had (not the hotel at all). On checkout day, my wife woke up with the worst stomach pains (bad seafood from the night before). She asked me if there was any way we could extend our stay another night? My wife was willing to change rooms if we had to. I went down to the front desk and spoke with Carlos, the manager. After explaining our situation, Carlos went above and beyond to assist and was able to allow us to stay in the same rooms that we had. He mentioned that he might not be able to give us the same rate as we had earlier. BUT... he did!! Carlos was able to take a HUGE load off our minds and reduce the stress. My wife basically slept all day and was feeling better by the evening. I can't even imagine travelling like that. Overall... the Westin Georgetown was a solid 5-stars!! We recommend the Westin to all our friends and we stay here everytime we come to DC and will continue to stay. Highly recommended!!

Trip to DC This hotel was nice but none of the places to eat were open due to COVID. The parking is $50 per night. I think that was a bit much. However, the staff was nice. I would hope that after COVID things would get better.

Great rate, great staff, great location This was our first time at this hotel, having been to DC at least a dozen times previously. Overall a very solid stay. Although low in numbers, the staff was great!! We were informed prior to coming that it was barebones as far as services at the hotel. Due to COVID and things not completely open yet, no restaurants, no room service but they did offer a service of picking up takeout for you. The room was comfortable and quiet. We used the pool every day we were there and it was clean and refreshing. There is a lot of great food close by so we didn’t use the takeout service. Special kudos to Carlos at the front for always greeting us with a smile and making sure he could help us if we needed anything. Great location for GW and Georgetown. And we couldn’t beat the price! I would definitely come back here for another stay!

Stay here for GWU visits The Westin always provides a solid stay and this location doesn’t disappoint. We were visiting George Washington University and the hotel borders the Foggy Bottom neighborhood where GWU is located. Due to the pandemic _ the hotel services and food options are limited but that’s par for course anywhere you’ll stay during the pandemic. The hotel’s neighborhood is great as there are so many good restaurants in the immediate area. Also, with the hotel located at 24th and M you are only a short 10-12 minute walk from both the heart of Georgetown and from many DC attractions including The White House and the National Mall. We had a nice stay all around. I recommend.

Great location, beautiful, clean hotel! We had a beautiful suite room overlooking the center courtyard. Room was covid clean, but I also had my bag of disinfectants. Very quiet and comfortable room. Heavenly bed!!! We stayed one night with our dog. Easy check in with Carlos the night we arrived. Rolled our own bags using the bell cart. Self parked at the ramp next door, as they have "bare bones" staff. Safe area and great walking distance to the monuments. We walked 6 miles round trip in the morning of Dec. 10th. We saw very FEW people except for an occasional runner or someone on their way to work. We felt like we had the monuments and the city to ourselves. We and almost all people we saw had masks on. We also encountered a lovely gentleman at he front desk upon check out as well. Sad to say he said, when I asked, the hotel was at 16% capacity. (We never saw another guest!) Nice night sleep/stay at the Westin, Georgetown.
