Best Western Plus Port of Camas - Washougal Convention Center

Always a great experience Super clean! Love that they have breakfast available. Staff is always super friendly and we only stay here when we come into town to visit family. Its nice to be able to go walk around the marina with a cup of their amazing French Vanilla coffee in the morning!

Convenient, Comfortable Location A wonderful location among parks that line the Columbia River. Quiet, just 5 minutes from downtown Camas, and easy access to the interstate. PDX is about 20 minutes away. We had four rooms this time for a family reunion. The kids and grandkids loved it.

Is your identity safe here? During check-in, Chasten provided such horrible customer service, with such a hostile attitude, that I considered leaving. It made me feel incredibly unsafe as a woman traveling alone. He wasn't friendly and didn't discuss any of the hotel policies with me. At one point he started copying my ID without any discussion that was going to happen. This is an extremely unusual policy, and when I asked why he was copying my ID, the response he gave was combative and didn't help me understand why. Aside from his handling of it, this policy makes me very uncomfortable. I don't want hotels to have copies of my ID just laying around. It took a lot of back and forth to learn it would eventually be shredded. The morning clerk was at least polite enough to give an explanation about checking for warrants, but even for that it still feels incredibly invasive to take copies. I was also charged extra "for incidentals" without ever being told that would happen. I'm moving money to cards specifically for this trip based on rates each day, and because Chasten charged my card extra without telling me, it caused an overdraft. I asked about it and he was again combative saying all hotels charged for incidentals. The extra charges I've seen during just this trip have ranged from $0 - $200, but EVERY hotel informed me before they ran the charge through. I told him that he needed to do the same. All to say, when the first person I met crossed multiple boundaries with my identity and money, all without saying a word before doing so, it made me question what other areas he'd feel entitled to encroach on. Especially when he seemed annoyed that I was even there. Change the ID policy and deal with this employee, but I won't be back and I recommend others stay away.

July 4th celebration This property is a must, beautiful location great amenities pool fitness and outstanding breakfast and most of all the staff. the views of the river are beautiful and a great floating restaurant in the marina. also, a short drive to downtown Camas a charming downtown with pubs and great coffee house. this hotel is definitely 5 star.

Quiet and Scenic. Near the gorge! This is my go to hotel when visiting Vancouver/Portland. The hotel is quiet and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful and do their best to help accommodate guest needs. Free parking and I feel much safer here than at hotels near 205 or in Portland where I’ve had car break ins.
