The food and customer service! The Best Western in Waterloo out of all my stays at the. Eat western pluses Waterloo is the best! When I go to Waterloo I either take a room with a jacuzzi or one with a board room! I normally take the latter! First when you call in for a reservation, the staff are so polite and courteous! Most hotels when they hear Mr. Marvellouss from Conway & Sons Enterprizes Inc hisitate before they talk to you! No not Waterloo, they make you feel like Yer family! Unfortunately being I’ve been in the hospital for so long I don’t remember the names who served me but I definitely remember the service! The food, customer service is simply fantastic! I even explained to there front desk people I had clients coming into the hotel to see me for business! It ran like a will oiled wheel! Actually my business associates commented on my choice of The Best Western Waterloo for my board meeting with all them, now I did get a lot of contracts signed that day but it was differently a lot to do with the service from that location! So my friends and followers! I recommend at the extremely highest regard to stay at The Best Western in Waterloo for business or pleasure! Oh I forgot, one week I ended up in the hospital, I called the Best Western in Waterloo to apologize for missing my reservation, they said don’t worry about it, no charge! As Always Have A Marvellouss Day! Paul Conway Aka Mr Marvellouss!

Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel, do not recommend I was extremely dissatisfied with my stay at the Best Western Express; I will never stay here again and will not recommend it to anybody I know. I booked three rooms with two Queen beds each; upon check-in I was assigned three rooms with one Queen bed each. This was not the room type I booked, and with four adult men per room I clearly needed two Queen beds per room, which I had reserved well in advance. The staff member upon check-in stated they must have made a mistake with the booking, and only offered me one room with two Queen beds, as there was no further availability. This despite the fact I had made the reservations over ten weeks in advance on December 12th, 2022, and made them on the Best Western website directly, not on a third party booking site. I even called the hotel on two occasions leading-up to my stay to confirm my reservations; on February 8th, 2023 at 1030 hrs when I spoke to Linda, and on February 18th, 2023 at 0915 hrs when I spoke to Val. Both employees confirmed my reservations for three rooms with two Queen beds per room. Despite this major error by the hotel, I was only offered a nominal partial refund on my total reservation, and members of my group in two rooms had to use the small and uncomfortable pull-out couch. Furthermore when at the hotel itself, the lobby lounge was consistently overcrowded with dozens of children and families day-and-night who were treating the lobby like their own living room. Though not totally within the control of the hotel, staff certainly could have curtailed or controlled this behaviour better. The only positive about my stay was the continental breakfast; ample options and high quality hot food and coffee.

won't be going back very rude staff. We were never told upon check in that the pool area was closed. We then asked to check out but were told that we had to pay for the room anyways. My travelling partner asked a question about the "newcomers to Canada" he was called a racist. I was even called a racist by the general manager and I didn't say anything. They also charged the room twice on my credit card and put me over my very low limit even though I told them I would be paying with debit upon check out. The general manager also told me that there was a $100 deposit (which he claimed that every hotel does....not) which I would get back in 5 business days. I was told by the general manager not to return to this hotel. Stay away from this hotel. You will be disappointed with their service.

Family night away Many pros......Bed/pillow was comfy. Room was quite sound proof, only heard people in the hallway once, and upstairs a couple times through the night. We stayed in a double queen suite, it was spacious but an odd layout. I've never seen the bathroom in the middle of the room before, usually it's right as soon as you enter the room. Girl at check-out was polite. Pretty decent price for a suite. Good location-mall across street, plenty of restaurants w/in 5 minutes drive. Breakfast was neither pro nor con. It was alright. Eggs had a "buttery" taste which we weren't huge fans of, sausages were a little burnt. Con.....pool/hot tub was broken which is one thing but the worst thing is that the girl at check-in didn't even mention anything. My family & I got changed, went downstairs only then to find out for ourselves that they're out of order. I spoke to the girl at the front desk, all she said was "Sorry!" And it didn't even sound legit. She gave a good impression at check-in but lost that when I spoke to her about the pool. One more con which I find completely rude is the Canadian flag is half missing. This hotel is currently home for a few refugees. Having only half a Canadian flag doesn't make a good impression. Honestly don't know if I would stay here again, depends on circumstances.
