Six Flags Family Trip Overall it was nice for our family of 5, no real complaints, breakfast was lackluster, but rooms were clean, it was safe, orderly, and did the job. The staff was good, pool was fine, location was great for us. Size of room was plentiful. Solid.

Stafd was great, Hotel was disappointing. Housekeeping needs improvement. So we stayed at the Spring hill suites to visit my son who was at Great Lakes naval training center. It was the 2nd week of June 2021. Let me begin by saying the staff was super friendly and helpful. But the hotel itself was A disappointment. 1st of all they advertise there's a bar which there is not.. I mean there's literally a bar with stools but there's no alcohol and no bartender. The breakfast is very lackluster. It consisted of bagels, prepackaged cream cheese and butter.. Prepackaged bowls of cereal Oatmeal packets with a hot water dispenser.. My daughter was lucky enough to get a spoiled container of milk out of the cooler. So when we stayed there was an employee shortage nationwide. We understand short staffing but at the same time the rooms were not cleaned well at all. We found a soda bottle under the nightstand half full. Mildew in the corners of the shower, miscellaneous items in the pull out couch. The 1st room we were in the pull out bed and the couch was it was breaking and my daughter was having trouble sleeping on it. They were nice enough at the front desk to move us to another room. Unfortunately the room that they moved Us into was pretty dirty too. The sofa bed was disgusting. When you pulled the cushions off on the bottom side of the cushions there was huge white stains that looked like bodily fluids all over it. I'll leave that to your imagination. I guess they just flipped them over instead of cleaning it. The sofa bed was rickety in that room as well. There was mildew in this bathroom too. We came to the conclusion that no matter what room we moved to it would be unsatisfactory. They were granting access to the pool by appointment only for only 30 minutes at a time. We did manage to reserve it. The pool was super cloudy. Another huge disappointment. I really hate leaving reviews like this but it was definitely under par for a Marriott property, And it wasn't a cheap stay. If I return to the Great Lakes area I will not stay at this Springhill location again. Not worth the money we paid.

Overnight stay on our way North The hotel is nice and clean. The indoor pool is good sized. The breakfast is terrible. Some prepackaged bagels and muffins and cereal mostly. Waffle irons but no waffle mix. Do not stay here for the free breakfast. Outdoor patio with a fountain that is nice.

Horrible customer service and silly continued “Covid” policies We were not allowed to use the pool!! They have a policy that each room can reserve for 30 minute blocks!! We were told they were booked up for the night we wanted to swim. I went down and looked in the pool from 8:30p to 10p about every 20 minutes. NOT ONE PERSON WAS IN THE POOL!! When I brought this up to the girl at the desk (interrupted her texting in her cell in the back office with other worker) she was rude as hell!!! They do not have a warm/hot breakfast and the selection of danishes and bagel taste like foam blocks!!! The juices are stay SMA watery!!! The state of IL is open…open up the hotel!! They decrease services and amenities but charge full price!! This crap has to stop!! Thanks for ruining my family trip!!

Very spacious suite. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean & spacious. I loved the layout of the room. Having a shower in a separate room from the toilet. Fran the person at the front desk was very professional & helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
