For a one night layover it’s OK. The room was clean, the temperature control worked well, the bed was fine but the shower was challenging. I had to use twist ties to hold the shower sprayer up on the rod as the shower nozzle didn’t work at all. The hot breakfast was good. The hotel is tired and needs an update but for the price it’s OK.

Great place to stay! Great place to stay. Very affordable with extra large rooms for the family. Highly recommended! Lot of attractions close by. Hotel staff were very friendly and check in was easy. Plenty of parking as well when we checked in late in the evening.

Friendly staff and great breakfast Great facility and having a true breakfast was a nice surprise. Only issue is our room was above railroad tracks and morning train came through a bit too early for our sleep schedule. Staff was friendly and professional. They even had a complimentary razor and shaving cream for me which saved a last minute trip.

Family friendly We enjoyed our stay. The manager Bobbie and the gal Samantha were so helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was great. I wish the "CUSTOMERS" would show the workers some grace. They were working hard to put the food out as fast as they could for everyone. We will definitely visit again if we come back to this area. Oh, and the pillows we're comfy.

Budget hotel, with overall good experience and location Two night weekend stay in early December. Our room was clean, however, for some reason housekeeping never came during our stay. No clue why. We recommend asking for the street side, unless you’re ok putting up with the busy set of RR tracks on the back side. It got a bit noisy at night. The free breakfast is good. There was ample seating, but they need more breakfast staff to help replenish food and clean tables. The food was prepped well, but everything kept running out. I don’t fault the staff. They were working super hard. It is a management / staffing issue. Breakfast consisted of: Scrambled eggs Sausage Bacon Hash browns Various cereals Make-your-own waffles Yogurt Fruit Fruit juice Milk & chocolate milk Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. If you forgot anything, there are plenty of nearby stores, including WalMart, Target, and WinCo. Target and WinCo are within easy walking distance. There are also several nearby dine-in and fast food restaurants, also within short walking distance. Gas stations are fairly close, and there is a Starbucks that is a short drive away. If you’re looking for a place to stay to tour Leavenworth, factor in the drive and cost of parking. This time of year parking for the day was $40.00. Chances of finding free parking is slim-to-none. Didn’t appear that free parking exists in Leavenworth any more. If you are visiting during tourist times and intend to dine in Leavenworth, absolutely make a reservation well in advance. Otherwise good luck finding a place to eat, other than their McDonalds. The Alpine Coaster was so-so to me, but the kids enjoyed it. You’ll want to make advanced reservations for this too during heavy tourist times.
