Don't stay here if your want a restful evening. Don't stay at this property if you are interested in a good night's sleep. POUNDINGLY loud music from the pool bar players til 2 am. Had someone made that known to us, we would have asked for a different room. Ok, this is LA. Maybe, I should have known. But I have been up since 4 am Eastern time to travel here. It would have been nice if the front desk staff had told us that there would be loud music til 2 am, 9 stories below we would have asked for a different room. When I called to ask how late the music would be on, the staff member sounded surprised that anyone would complain. I was surprised at the absence of compassion. She did say she would" try to do something". I doubt she was sincere..... the music is still pounding....... I am not impressed with the response or the lack of warning at check in. That could have avoided this very unpleasant experience for this traveler. We didn't need a pool view room.

Disappointing Bathroom Maintenance I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at the Mondrian Los Angeles Hotel from June 14-16th. Despite the smooth check-in and courteous service from the bellhop and receptionist, my overall experience was far below the standards expected from a hotel of your reputation. Upon checking into suite 416, I unpacked quickly and left to meet friends for dinner. When I returned late that night, I encountered my first issue. The handheld nozzle in the shower was not properly secured, causing it to spray water directly at the floor. I managed to fix this myself using a pocket knife, but the shower water was cold and would not warm up, regardless of how I adjusted the controls. I had to endure a cold shower and subsequently clean up a large puddle of water on the bathroom floor caused by a poorly sealed shower door, using two of my large towels. The next morning, I discovered that the toilet was running continuously. I reported the lack of hot water, the leaking shower door, and the running toilet to the front desk and was assured that an engineer would address these issues while I was at the gym. Upon my return, it appeared that someone had been in the room, but the shower water was only lukewarm, and the espresso machine was non-functional. Later that day, I found my room had not been cleaned, and the espresso machine had leaked water onto the floor. I reported these issues again to the front desk and was told that housekeeping would clean the room and replace the espresso machine. I had planned to relax in my room but went to the pool instead to allow time for cleaning and repairs. When I returned, my room had been cleaned, but the hot water issue remained unresolved. I took another cold shower that night. The next morning, I informed the front desk once more about the lack of hot water and went to the gym to give them time to fix it, despite not wanting to go. Finally, just an hour before I checked out, I had hot water for the first time during my stay. While the staff were friendly and attentive, the repeated maintenance issues and the inconvenience of cold showers and a leaking espresso machine were unacceptable. My stay was far from the relaxing experience I had anticipated. I hope you will address these issues promptly to prevent future guests from facing similar problems. I look forward to your response and hope that my next visit to the Mondrian Los Angeles will be significantly improved.

Regarding the valet service This is strictly a review regarding the valet service at the Mondrian in West Hollywood. Jose, Cesar, Jonathan & Alex took such great care of me over these past two weeks. Always such fast and friendly service, a very impressive team. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Will not stay again. Room set to a balmy 75 degrees and did not go lower. When asked if we could get it lowered, maintenance just cracked the windows. Too expensive of a place for being so uncomfortable. Restaurant downstairs was way over priced. I gave the hotel two stars because of the location.

MONDRIAN LA RUN FRAUDLENT CHARGES ON YOUR CARD- DO NOT STAY HERE! 2 WEEKS LATER THEY STILL HOLD OVER $2K MY ACTUAL BILL! Hotel charged over $2K in unauthorized charges on my credit card citing "incidentals' yet when I checked in they charged me $200/night on incidentals- i paid $1800 on a $1K reservation booking. My charges at hotel were under the $200/night charged at check in; they ran another $900 2nd day after $1800 charged at check in and cited my $150 room charge at bar (under the $200 incidental per diem they charged at me at check in)- they charged over $1100 after $1800 charge due to a $150 charge at bar. Process that. And now (2 weeks later after checking out) have a hold on my card over $4K that hasn't been released- double what the final bill was. In 2024, they advise they can't release the holds for UNAUTHORIZED charges MONDRIAN MADE THAT WAS DOUBLE my stay which was paid AT CHECK OUT. TWO WEEKS LATER we still have a hold on my card for UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES IN EXCESS OF $2K. The definition of FRAUDULENT CHARGES- DO NOT STAY HERE! NEVER HAVE I HAD SUCH AN ISSUE IN ALL OF MY TRAVELS OVERSEAS OR DOMESTIC. STAY AT THE EDITION OR ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE- MY ROOM WASN'T CLEANED IN THREE DAYS I WAS THERE DESPITE MY ASKING FOR SAME. LOCATION GREAT- HOTEL FINANCIAL DEPT IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF AN ETHICS COURSE. TWO WEEKS HOLD ON UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES IS BORDERLINE CRIMINAL.
