Go somewhere else! This place was a big disappointment. The site I booked on had mostly favorable reviews so I booked a one night stay. I should have done more research. Its a very old, rundown property. The furniture was worn out and the room I had was very cramped with little space to walk between the beds. It was way over priced. I should have gone with a better property even if the price was a bit higher. I didnt sleep well in such a rundown room.

Needs updating One of the last economy hotels in West Yellowstone to fill up, so we were able to get a last-minute room. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, large TV with a lot of channels and had a table with two chairs. Everything is very dated and smells a bit musty. The hairdryer was broken, some of the outlets did not work and wifi was constantly disconnecting. The ice machine was not working, but you can buy a bag of ice from the office for $2. The office is not staffed 24/7 and does not open before 7a. Very traditional looking motor inn. I would stay here again.

A Place To Stay But I am Sure There Are Much Better Available Here The hotel is dated and needs a lot of TLC. The parking lot is crowded. The insulation to adjoining rooms is almost non existent downstairs so you hear everything the guest above is doing. Sleep was ok once everybody throughout the hotel stopped moving. The bathroom door in our room was literally falling off the hinges. The bathroom tap leaked. No coffee pot in the room but coffee is provided in the lobby. Internet was spotty when the rooms were full. This is the cheapest in West Yellowstone and I guess these are the reasons why. That does not mean it is inexpensive. This is a tourist town and so therefore rooms are expensive throughout.

I think these people are great - friendly, thoughtful, helpful and kind. So, I think this place is awesome. We live in a supply and demand capitalist economy, and this is the least expensive place in town. In the summer, West Yellowstone is in high demand - this town is the closest place to stay just outside any entrance. I messed up my reservation and so showed up without one. Even so, the front desk person was really kind to me, and asked me to return late-late to check on no-shows. I did, and they were able to get me a room. Since I was traveling with my family, I am so thankful for their kindness and support. We would have been sleeping in the van or driving far. Our room was spacious, clean and nice. We were able to shower sleep comfortably well for the night. I think these folks are awesome, friendly, thoughtful and kind. I am from Kansas City, but love Yellowstone. I will be happy to return here. Hopefully next time I won't jack up my reservation. :-)

What a mistake. I hope you can learn from my experience and find another place to stay. What a mistake! For $200/night, I'm astonished at the poor quality of this motel. It is the textbook definition of TIRED and SHABBY. I've stayed in hundreds of motels over the years for both business and pleasure and this rates in the bottom 5%. The bed has a terrible mattress. It's like something our of the Spanish Inquisition. The room is dark. The only lighting is two bedside lamps. No overhead light. No light on the very small desk. I'm writing this from a very dark corner of the room. There is no bedside table. The little furniture that is there looks like they bought it at a roadside yard sale. I had to use my suitcase standing up for a table to eat my Subway sub for dinner. The bathroom is small, cramped and looks like your drunk uncle put it together, complete with sloppy caulking. The front desk person isn't exactly focused on customer service. When I told him that the internet connection in my room isn't working (10+ minutes trying to load a simple web page), his response (when he looked up from his Nintendo Switch) was that "it's working here". Even after I badgered him into resetting the router, the internet service is barely faster than dial-up. The DirectV didn't work. A maintenance person had to reset the entire system. Even then, most of the channels don't work..It's stuck on "Searching...". On the third visit, they explained that they don't buy many channels and I have to keep searching for something that works. No, they don't have a list of available channels. FOR $200/NIGHT. No bedside nightstand. No clock. No in-room coffee. No fridge. No microwave. No clothes hangars. No vanity in the bathroom, so no place to put down a shaving kit, toothbrush or anything else. (See the photo). That sink is straight out of 1965. We're here for 2 rooms, 3 nights. On the bright side, the manager agreed to refund us for the next two nights. I found another motel 45 miles away. A lot of extra driving, but it will be worth it to get out of this dump. *Side note. The internet service is so bad here that I had to use my iPhone as a hotspot to make new reservations!
