Pleasant View Inn

Great location The location is great. It's pretty expensive but if you are there to soak up the sun, waves or pool it's great. Rooms and hallways are a little tight/narrow but I think that's because the layout is to maximize how many people can stay. The queen bed we slept on was pretty hard but not awful. Wifi service could be stronger. I appreciate that they room came with a mini fridge. Our tiny balcony overlooking the pool could just about fit 2 adults sitting in the chairs that were provided. I like that the Andrea Beach bar is close by. They have good food there. There's a little shop in the corner of the lobby that sells cold drinks and sun screen etc. There's also a boutique on the east corner that sells pretty things. This was our 2nd stay. The other time was back in 2020. The young woman working the reception desk when we first showed up wasn't too friendly. I was asking if our room happened to be ready early and she just said, " Check in is a 4pm" However, the next day, she was more pleasant. I would book again because it's right on the beach.

A great weekend We had a fantastic time at the Pleasant View. The rooms are modern and clean. The entire staff is so friendly, especially Susan and Krista at the Front Desk. The on-site restaurant has amazing food. The service was attentive. We had a wonderful server named Ashley who was super great with our little kids. We will be back next summer!

We enjoyed the best chicken francaise I’ve ever had, prepared by Chef Lenny. Also thank you to GM Joe for ensuring we were enjoying our stay! Between the beautiful ocean views and the clean refreshing pool, we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

Wonderful vacation at beautiful beach hotel. I love this hotel! My husband and I spent several days there this past week on the recommendation of a cousin of ours who stayed there a few years ago. It was so great to be staying in a hotel that was on the beach in a great location. We liked everything about it. The rooms are attractive and clean, the beds are super comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. Everyone who works there whose paths we crossed, including Joseph Taunton (General Manager), Krista and the rest of the front desk staff, and many others, were extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I had noted down more names to mention. We had thought we would spend some of our time doing other things in the area, as there is a lot to do, but we found that we had little interest in leaving the hotel. The beach is beautiful, with the water clean and inviting. There are plenty of chaises lining a grassy area above the beach from which to watch the waves rolling in. It was great to be able to wander over to the on-site restaurant for a nice lunch facing the ocean, We ate most of our dinners there as well, as we enjoyed the offerings of the varied menu. Kudos to Lenny (chef) and others on the restaurant team. We loved that we didn't have to think about where we would eat dinner. It was no surprise to discover, in chatting with other hotel guests, that a good number of people of all ages return to Pleasant View year after year. I have no doubt that we will be joining the club of return guests.

Anniversary get away This place is beautiful. The room was cozy, other than a few carpet stains. The meal me and my wife shared was amazing. Our drinks from the bar were tasty, Danielle was a peach! Check in was a little awkward tho. An older woman with long grey hair and glasses, Michelle I think, she said she really liked my energy and came out from the desk and gave me a hug. I was very taken back but just excused it. I love how the gift shop was open all night! During my 2 night stay I had the pleasure of meeting both night auditors, Baily and Rose. And I myself work 3rd shift so I know the struggle. They both were amazing company. On my check out day I got a warm cup of coffee and my wife enjoyed a hot cocoa and were on our way! We will be returning soon!
