Stayed two nights; wish we picked another hotel. Went up for a fun weekend with a friend and honestly; we are not impressed. The website makes the hotel look upscale; however, I’d say its equivalent to a Best Western (however a much higher prices) “at best.” The room had almost no amenities and “no name coffee.” They advertise “espresso” on the website, but this is also at an additional cost. The room was full of stains and looked very “tired.” The shower Curtin was ripped and clearly needs to be replaced. Some deep cleaning and a few replacement items would cost very little and improve the stay. Some better amenities should also be provided at this price point. The A/C unit needs to be replaced and could barely cool the room. The pool/hot tub close too early… Ill also note it was always a “fight” to get a towel for our room or at the pool; maybe this hotel has run into some financial difficulties? The hotel also looks to be VERY understaffed, and the staff seemed “rushed and tired.” No one was rude; I’m sure this is the company/management cutting corners and costs and it’s a shame as the hotel is located at a fantastic spot HOWEVER is overpriced for what you get. I even asked for a bottle opener one night to have some wine; apparently the hotel has ONLY ONE and you MUST come down the front desk to use it as they need to ensure they have it for “everyone’s use.” …. Bare min. please buy some extra towels and a few more bottle openers….it was honestly just sad. I also over-heard couples on both evenings with similar comments to mine…. it’s a shame as this hotel was not cheap; paid over $700 for the two nights. Even if the price is slightly higher, I recommend a different hotel; most I would pay for this level of service, amenities, dirty room would be $150/night MAX. The individual at check-out did not even seem to care about the quality of our stay. (Basic hospitality) I usually don’t write reviews as I also worked in hotels for years…but this was a huge disappointment.

Forced from our rooms because of a fire in the hotel. The Hotel caught on fire 6/12/2024 . All guest were evacuated from the Hotel from approx. 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM. 2 hours of standing out in the cold with out a whole lot on. I asked for no charge for the night since I got no sleep. I was told it was an accident so full charge for the room.

Fantastic Hotel in a fantastic location. Highly recommend. We had two nights here and could not have chosen a better place. Location: such a short walk into the Village. This was great as we could walk to our dinners in the evening without worrying about driving. Rooms: are spacious, clean and well equipped with a large TV, coffee machine, bathrooms are a good size with lovely Malin & Goetz products. Staff: from check in to house keeping they are all super lovely. Car park: nice and easy. Plenty of underground parking with no issues finding a spot when we were in and out of the Hotel. Would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Whistler We recently enjoyed a fantastic 10 day stay at the Aava in Whistler. This was our first visit to Whistler and we certainly weren't disappointed. The Aava is one of the better value hotels in Whistler, but we couldn't fault it. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the main village, so easy access to restaurants, bars, and lifts, but just outside so nice and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day. All the staff we encountered we friendly and efficient. Tom on reception was especially worth a mention. He was a pleasure to speak to and always had time to answer any questions and offer advice. Also, the maintenance guy whose name I think is Matt, was extremely helpful on a couple of occasions. We would certainly stay their again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
