Just a fantastic stay from beginning to end We had just a great 3 night stay from beginning to end. Upon walking into the lobby area, we were enthusiastically and immediately greeted by Andrew, who gave us great assistance with our check in. He offered further help at anytime during our stay, but nothing else was needed. Everything worked out great the whole stay. We have stayed here before but it had been a number of years since our last visit. Everything in the room was great and has been maintained very well over the years. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Grill & Vine, and it was fantastic. Portions are large enough that we took leftovers to the room fridge to have later, and our server each day, Heather was also fantastic. Great service and food all around at the Grill and Vine. Location is great too. It's close enough to the village, but still away enough that it's nice and quiet. In the winter, this location is even better, as it's pretty much right next to the Whistler Gondola. The Westin Whistler is highly recommended for both a summer or winter stay!

Great Experience! The location was great, located in the village but on the quieter end. It's far enough from the music from the bars that you can't hear it in the rooms. We got the one bedroom suite and was pleasantly surprised. It had a kitchen with fridge, microwave, and all the plates and utensils. The TV had YouTube on it which allowed us to connect to our phones and play whatever we wanted so that was nice too. Our room was facing the forest so there wasn't much of a view, but it was quiet and private. The concierge was amazing. We tried to book the Vallea Lumina tickets online but they were sold out, but the concierge was able to help us get them. He also helped us get the gondola tickets, which was great because we avoided the giant line at the actual ticket booth. Due to Covid restrictions, there was no housekeeping service. It would have been nice to be informed of it when we checked in, but we did not know till we asked later on. We sent requests for fresh towels and shampoo through the Mariott app, which all arrived promptly. The in room dining selection was a bit limited, but it was sufficient given we didn't want to line up for two hours for every other restaurant in the village since it was an exceptionally busy summer weekend when we went there. We ordered the margarita pizza and it tasted great! The parking spots were on the small side, and we had quite a bit of trouble trying to fit our car into the spots especially if there is another large car already parked beside it.. Next time, we will go for the valet parking instead. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back next time.

Inconsiderate I have been to this hotel and it was nice and well maintained. So we decided to book another stay. I was booked June 9-11 ,2021. May 15 when BC announced that they are not allowing interregional travel as well as residents of other provinces. Another announcement was done around May 30 and said no out of province leisure trips. We waited for another announcement and still in place few days before our trip. So I cancelled it 3 days before our suppose stay. But it not within there cancellation policy. So they charged me with $345 for it. They are very inconsiderate with it as it is out of our hands that our whole BC trip has been cancelled. We are book to other Marriott properties in BC and they didnt have issues refunding even with few days cancellations. When I called the reservation team, there reason was 3 days wasn’t enough to resell the room. But who are they going to resell it?no tourist from out of province and other regions too? Very inconsiderate . I know they loss a lot of money during the pandemic but these unkind gestures to potential guest is disappointing.

Great place So off we went for a couple of days as a family to Whistler and we chose the Westin. What can I say except great from start to finish! A few days before we checked in an email came updating us on any restrictions. At the end of the email was a note that the pool would be shut down for maintenance from the 19th to the 21st. Yikes! Not great words when you have 2 kids under 11. I called the hotel and spoke with the front desk and asked if there was anything fun that they would consider giving the kids. When we checked in they said that the kids had two free movies to watch! I really appreciated the gesture as they were disappointed that our mini vacation fell on the pool maintenance days! The lobby was immaculate, as was the room. The view was amazing and even though we had the restrictions we enjoyed our time. The staff was friendly and helpful every day. We appreciate everyone who made our stay a respite from the crazy that we’ve all been and are going through. We’ll see you again after Covid!!!

Westin Whistler - Great staff and experience We spent a week of our March break at the Westin in Whistler. Great location, and the staff were fabulous - so friendly and went above and beyond for our family - especially our kids. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel. Special shout out to Lindy who took good care of our son who got separated from us. Thank you lindy and the Westin staff for great hospitality!
