Room for improvement I had a nice stay - my room was nice, as were the common areas, the amenities and the service. But for the price they’re charging, they need to do better. I had an issue with a machine I wanted to use in the gym. I had a premier room reserved but when I checked in, at official checkin time, I was told it wouldn’t be ready for another hour, so I took a downgrade. That shouldn’t happen-rooms should be ready at checkin (or earlier), as reserved. The pool had a very strong chlorine smell. For those blissfully ignorant of what that means, Google it, but bottom line, the stronger the smell of chlorine, the dirtier a pool is. That might’ve made sense given the number of families/kids that were using it, but again, at that price, they need to do better, and clean/replace the water better and more often.

Great 4 star hotel. Breakfast really impressive The hotel is located in the center of the city. 5 mins walk to everything. We enjoyed the pool. It is a quarter Olympic size pool with a lot of light. The only negative is that there is no proper change room. The breakfast is to die for! We enjoyed the lobby lounge service very much. The rooms are spacious and the hallway is very clean and has a luxurious touch. We got room upgrade to a larger room as Marriott plat. Our impression is that this is definitely not ritz Carlton quality but also beyond Westin and Sheraton. Overall it is a very good experience for a 4 star hotel.

One of the best hotel I experienced in U.S I rarely give 5/5 to hotels as I think 5/5 deserves only to hotel being perfect. But this hotel was one of my best. I prefer to leave review with pros and cons. I hope this help. Pros: Room: Great room. Spacious, well designed. I was very disappointed with room conditions with properties in U.S compared to other countries, especially NE Asia (Korea, China, Japan) but this hotel was absolutely out of common U.S properties. I even think the room was the best of all luxury properties I stayed on U.S. Amenities: I really enjoyed it. Le labo amenities had nice smell and size. I personally prefer more than Asprey, which is amenity of Ritz-Carlton. Gym: Great. Many high- tech equipment placed. No words to stay without hope to see little more heavier dumbbells when thinking of who uses gym during trip. Location: On downtown White plains, great location, near NYC also. Cons: None Final words: Great hotel, I hope to visit again someday.

Can't recommend The Opus Westchester enough! My husband and I were in town for the weekend and had previously stayed at the Ritz so we weren't sure what to expect. Suffice to say, we were absolutely BLOWN away by this establishment. The staff's kindness was incomparable to any hotel we'd traveled to before. Oscar was a bright and friendly face the minute we arrived Thursday evening, and from there we enjoyed drinks and food with Vanessa, Joel, Nahian and every other staff member working in the bar and throughout the hotel - the Opus Westchester truly has an A+ team. It had been so long since we stayed at a hotel, and we even ended up booking an extra night because we felt so at home!

Amazing I honestly can't write enough good things about the Opus. The staff is amazing. Josh is likely the best Sales Manager I've ever worked with and I've worked with so many hotels in the past. Would recommend to anyone. Grounds are beautiful, you wont regret it!
