Wow, how is Hampton allowing this? Elevator was broken and from previous reviews, it's clear it has been for awhile and they have no intention of repairing it. Had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs, so not ADA compliant. AC was out in our room. Everything was hot and moist. Tub would not drain. Room was not clean. Spiders. Yikes.

Go somewhere else This property leaves much to be desired. The reservation desk tried to book us in Wichita KS because she wasn't listening. She neglected to tell us the elevator was not working. I hasn't been for a while. Personally this place is off our travel itinerary.

Never Again A hard no. Never again. Front desk service was ridiculous. Asked a question and was told how was an I supposed to know. The one elevator went out and fire doors propped open (I have pictures) from top to bottom. Apparently someone doesn’t trim employees on fire code. Downstairs a/c isn’t working due to the doors propped open. Never again. I could have stayed at Best Western and saved at least $150. Placed calls to management that were never returned. I will be sharing my fire code pictures with Wichita Falls Fire Department. If there would have been a fire I hope they would have good insurance.

Everyting perfect, even more than other similar Hamptons I stopped in to this place on a lark, finding myself needing a place to stay without planning. The Hampton brand over the decades has sort of taken the place of the roadside HI I remember so well as a kid. They are more likely to adhere to company standards from one property to the next, and it’s certainly appreciated. I spent $50 more than I normally would on a stay like this solely because I knew what I was going to get. My sleeping room was in Hilton condition. I’m rather picky, and not a bit shy about pointing out things that shouldn’t happen with both hospitality and food service businesses. This one was lacking absolutely nothing. The only criticism I find for the property was the party checking me in didn’t know if there were microwaves in the room. I was looking in their pantry and found frozen foods, and there was nothing obviously available to thaw them with. I did find a microwave in the room later, but it just seems that those persons running the property should know what kind of facilities they have to offer. That’s a very minor thing, and if I were doing the hiring I’d only require that employee have some more training. Their breakfast was head and shoulders better than most other hamptons, and most other brands. I this lifetime of several decades I’ve never heard of a chocolate waffle, but they were very good. They didn’t offer a microwave in the breakfast area, which would be appreciated because waffles are much better if one can melt the butter before applying it. That’s just another casual observation, intended only to be constructive cricism because there was absolutely NOHTING wrong with what they already have. This date they had scrambled eggs and sausage and home fries. I avoid cheese in any recipe because 95% of what ones find is an oil product rather than cheese, and just adds more un-healthy to those little pre-made omelets which are quite common in the business. Of course their egg product this date was that stuff which comes in a bag, but it was properly prepared. I only wish it was a little bit warmer, or offered me a microwave to add some heat to it myslelf. In summary I have to give these folks an excellent rating and I’d recommend the place to any guest looking in that price class. They really do care what they have to offer, and somebody is not afraid to put some money into keeping standards high. If I find myself in that area again, it’s very likely I would choose them, and I would certainly encourage anyone shopping to pick this place. I know myself as being old, cranky, and picky, and it’s such a refreshing thing to find a place like this doing it right. I passionately love writing reviews like this, because I don’t get very many opportunities. My Hhonors points are another big calling card leading me in there.

Decent hotel We stayed New Year's Eve. Everything was super quiet. We booked the room at the end of the hall in the back and had to park in the mall parking lot. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and we didn't see anyone other than us in it the whole time. The rooms definitely need some help. The bed is in a strange position to watch TV. There was a big empty space with just a little foot stool in it. The refrigerator was cold when we got there and kept our drinks cold. The bed is a whole different story. Both our backs are killing us today. If you like hard beds this is your place. I didn't venture in too the main part of the hotel or the elevator so I can't speak on those. We wouldn't stay again because of the beds but the rest wasn't horrible.
