Good business hotel - feels isolated in a desolate downtown, unless there is a ball game Nice hotel, feels isolated unless you are going to a ballgame or concert/symphony. Food was just ok, service fine in the bar. The rooms are undergoing a reno, which is a good thing. Agree with the previous reviewer that the shampoo/conditioner/body wash placement in the showers is quite unfortunate - takes up space where a person actually needs to stand to shower. Seems a ripoff to charge $12/day for parking for guests and only $14/day for valet - self-parking should be much less. No idea why Hyatt continues its maniacal focus on putting motion detector lights in rooms - it is annoying and I have to disable them to be able to sleep - there is plenty of ambient light without LEDs coming on every time you move. Check-in staff is VERY nice - kudos to them. Great welcome and assistance every time. Would stay again.

MY GREAT STAY AT THE HYATT REGENCY IN WICHITA, KS It is a beautiful hotel that I stay at each and every time I come in town for business. I plan to stay there when I come back on my personal time because it is such a nice place.

Washed up… floors were disgustingly, sheets were dirty & pool chlorine was awful. And all this after they said we couldn’t get into our adjoining room as it needed to be cleaned ie. Past guests’ belongings removed… because it sure didn’t seem they cleaned it. Maybe the vacuum is as broken as downtown Wichita.

Exceptional Hotel and Staff This is a very nice hotel, with a lobby bar with TVs , an opulent lobby and wonderful staff. I never get to stay as long as I want as I usually stay when I'm flying in to the airport too late to drive home.
