A Boutique Experience Not to be Missed The Wildwood Hotel is a boutique hotel tucked away in the quiet and quaint area of Wildwood in the West County area of Greater St. Louis. Sitting in the lobby makes me feel like I am a guest in its receptive surroundings that extend comfort. With quaint shops, a movie theater, and restaurants all within walking distance, it is the perfect option to larger chain hotels. The staff and reservations are professional, flexible, and insightful in meeting the needs of guests. Everyone is warm and approachable. We recently hosted guests there for a second time in the last several months. They preferred the Wildwood after seeing other chain hotels off major interstates, East and closer to the city. We chose the king suite which was very clean, spacious, quiet, and well appointed. If you're in the area or want a get-away and need to feel like the guest where they actually know you and your needs, try the Wildwood. Paula Black

Meh! Wasn’t worth the price! If you don’t like double pillow top beds AVOID! The most uncomfortable nights sleep. The beds are so soft it’s like sleeping on a marshmallow. You will sink into the middle & feel your bed mates every move. We heard the people above us walking all night & the bar hoopers come in at 2am running down the hall. The King suite was spacious & clean for the most part. The hotel as a whole is very dated. The bathroom had a lot of pink bacteria & lacked a ventilation fan. It was nice to have BB&W small toiletries. Not a fan that you have to call every day if you want fresh towels. The staff was friendly & parking is free. It is close to dinning & shopping. I wouldn’t stay or recommend.

Needs new beds! The beds are terrible, too soft and very bouncy. You can feel your bedmate’s every move. Way too pricey for cramped outdated rooms. Pool is very small, not ideal when baseball teams takeover a hotel. We were part of a wedding block, not the baseball team. Good location, walkable to restaurants and shops.

Mixed Feelings on The Wildwood I can only give this hotel a generous 3 stars. The positives- the online communication, the room was pretty clean and quiet. The negatives- it is overpriced for what it is, it really needs a refurbishment- the elevators, hallways especially, there’s only cleaning if you stay several nights and the smallest amenities. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and everyone had to wait outside ( not sure why?) no fire luckily. Beware of the tiny , cheap hairdryers that are bolted to the wall. It sucked my hair into it and started to burn. I quickly unplugged it, but several inches of hair were absolutely stuck. I was alone and trapped by the short cord- couldn’t reach my phone. I finally sawed off my hair with my leg razor. I called to explain my concerns - I can easily see it happening to someone else- guessing it probably has- and the woman I spoke to was very kind, but no one ever contacted me about it. Hoping they replace them. There aren’t many hotels that are near our family, so we may stay again and hope for a better experience.

I will definitely stay here again when in St. Louis Very nice hotel. Everything was sparkling clean, including the rooms, the main areas and the pool. The employees were extremely nice and informative for giving information on things we could do in the area. The hot tub is small but clean and warm. You were close to lots of sightseeing in the area was beautiful.
