Don't do it. This place was probably great 40 years ago. It seems short staffed and needs to be updates badly. The location is good, but there are better options. Especially for the price. It is a few miles from the casino and it does have a few restaurants, but the place is just in need of an update or rebuild.

Nope Our first room had a live bug in the bed. We went to the front desk, and the clerk moved us to a different room. When we said we didn’t know where that room was, he told us “it’s right next door to the other room”, except it was up another flight of stairs. Upon check out, the discount we were promised due to the bug was not on our bill, and we were told it had to be approved by management. Person checking out before us had been given our original room after we told front desk guy about the bug. He told them that room and the rooms around it had been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. In a half hour? The front desk person was the same for all of this over three days. He really didn’t seem to care one bit. When the full amount of the cost of the room appeared on our credit card, we called to discuss with the manager, who arranged a partial refund for us. This is an old hotel, which needs some updating and a new front desk person. We won’t stay there again!

Wedding trip The original room we booked was not available we were put in a smaller room. The front desk tried their best. The air conditioner bothered my sinuses. The bar was nice good food but many fruit flies. The maid service was sparse. The grounds were very nice beautiful pool.

Beware Booked location because my sister was having her wedding there. Place is outdated and could use some dusting. I can see it was probably a beautiful place back in the day. Not handicapped accessible! It’s a maze. You could get lost! Indoor pool was closed and area smelt horrible! Gym was not nice. Couldn’t even find jacuzzi. Outdoor pool maintenance was preformed while we were in the pool. Literally put a hose in the pool with us. My shower was split in half. Knobs on sink loose. Room took 4 hours to cool down. And…. During the wedding the roof started leaking on the dance floor while we were dancing. Maintenance man on the dance floor on a ladder holding up ceiling tiles up with buckets around him to catch water. Bartender was so rude and was very annoyed to be at work that night. Club was flooded as well so they moved it to breakfast area. Could be a beautiful place with TLC, upgrades and a better staff.

Horrible customer service I had NO HOT WATER IN MY SHOWER. I called front desk twice to have it fixed and WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT REPAIR IT. I COMPLAINED TO FRONT DESK AND HAVE LEFT 5 MESSAGES TO KALVIN THE MANGER WITH NO RESPONSE. I have never written a bad review of place that I have stayed in all my years of travel. The rooms are very outdated, balcony was rotting and room smelled of cigarette smoke. There were 2 others complaining at front desk. One had no air conditioning all weekend and the other had asked for sheets for pull out 3 times and never received them. Wedding venue and restaurants were beautiful. Just get your room somewhere else.
