Bad experience Just skip this place, spend the money to stay in Tusayan or the park itself. The hotel stank of enough pine sol to gag you. The light fixtures didn’t work. There are no elevators. The furniture is atrocious. The mattresses are old and frayed. And you have to check in via video chat at a kiosk in the front of the restaurant. Overall a bad experience.

Bare Bones Amenities #1. Unable to locate facility. Called for basic vicinity & directions. Front desk advised that the Inn is located off of main st in Williams AZ. After searching Williams, we finally stopped @ Grand Canyon Railway office for directions & learned that the Inn was actually located in Valle AZ, which is 33 mi north of Williams. #2. Room with 2 queen beds for family of 4 was nice but not very clean. Necessities were limited. One trash bucket to be shared between bathroom & sleeping quarters, not enough towels for each person, equipped with 1 - 2oz tube of body wash for 4 of us. No ice to be found in 2 out of 2 ice machines - bone dry. The sun is only heat source for outdoor "heated pool". Hot tub dirty & not operable. #3. Upon reviewing the restaurant menu, we thought foid qas likely over priced & did not eat there. #4. Overall the Grand Canyon Inn is a tired two star facility but is adequate if not expecting more.

Do not stay here Had the misfortune of staying here during my trip to Arizona - avoid at all costs. So many things wrong with this place: - No refrigerator - No drinking water provided - The "shower" is a dribble of cold water (even after maintenance came to fix it) - Key cards have to be renewed every day as they automatically check you out at 11am, even if you are not leaving that day - It turned out we were staying in a motel across the street - The pool had brown murky water & a terrible smell, I definitely would not swim there. Outdoor furniture had cushions with large brown stains. - Wifi is not reliable. When we mentioned this to the receptionist she suggested driving to Flagstaff (50 miles away!) to see if they had wifi - No where to eat nearby (naturally I did not want to eat at the hotel) - Grounds were overgrown and filled with litter. - Air conditioning was so loud you could not leave it on overnight - Management were not bothered to resolve any issues we had and had the audacity to suggest charging for an "upgrade" to resolve some of our issues This place was so expensive considering how terrible it was. I can't stress enough how much this place should be avoided.

Great place to stay Love staying here, stayed several time. large clean rooms, staff are always friendly. A short drive to Grand canyon entrance, about 15 mins. Everything you need on site, restaurant which serves good value meals. Shop and garage, Great value.

The best value in the area Very good motel offering OK prices in an expensive area. The room had character and was very comfortable. The pool area was lovely, although the pool itself was a bit dirty and heated to an uncomfortably high temperature. The only real struggle was the dining situation, we found the hotel's restaurant pretty overpriced and there's nothing else in the area. Apart from that, it was all good, we would recommend the Grand Canyon Inn to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon (it's a 30-minute drive).
