Family -friendly resort style accommodations 5/5 for the following reasons: hospitality, uses of amenities, location, and cleanliness. Don’t mind spending money for accommodations that are clean! Also, this would be an ideal option for families especially those with children who love the water, as there is a splash pad and 2 pools. Lastly, being an avid runner, an added bonus for me was the proximity of paved walkways throughout the community. Would recommend/stay again.

Quiet and very pretty. Lack of restaurants on property. The rooms are clean, well appointed, quiet, and beautiful. The pools are open until 11pm. The Staff was helpful and accommodating. There was no place to eat on property, and not much else to do right there. However, it was very quiet and private and pretty.

What a mess Our family and friends stay at Marriott Club in Ford’s Colony was the WORST! We stayed in room 1732, our second night My son went out to the car to get his charger and called me from the elevator stuck! The maintenance people could not get the elevator running, So the fire department was called, when they arrived they ask if there was a master key for the elevator. The maintenance guy brought one Key That didn’t work he said he had others The firefighters ask him to bring every key he had he kept bringing one at a time. Meantime my son was stuck in the elevator. The firefighters tried their keys and broke out the crowbar after an hour past. Finally right before they were going to rip open the elevator the maintenance brought the right key! My son was stuck in the elevator for over an hour between two floors. We finally got to bed around 1 o’clock in the morning. We were promised a one night refund. Next morning we woke up with a no hot water so none of us could take a shower. We went to the beach came back to the condo with a no air conditioner. We were trying to hang out in the heat and play a game but the maintenance guy was in our condo for over an hour vacuuming The air vents and replacing filters, again this really ruined our Evening. Woke up the next morning no hot water. My husband called the front desk they were extremely apologized and promised another night off. When we checked out we only had one day taken off our five day stay. When we talked to the manager he said that one day is all he could do. This was our first vacation of the summer because of work and conflicting schedules with family and friends so sad it couldn’t been more peaceful!

Very well kept and quiet location We really enjoyed our short stay here after a less than great experience elsewhere. The villa was very clean, all 3 pools were sparkling clean, the grounds are very well maintained and parking is plentiful. I would highly recommend this vacation club location for a stay in Williamsburg.

Unfortunately dismal. Let’s start by commenting on the wannabe gangster night auditor who treats owners and guests completely inappropriately. His tone and condescending statements and then the other Marriott employee laughing along with his cruel and degrading comments. What a disgrace. Rooms old, maintenance sloppy and unprofessional. I would be ashamed if I were an owner. Cleanliness is not a word that could be used for the location as everything was gross. Could not use the screened in porch because of the spider webs. Could not open windows because spiderwebs. Spiderwebs appeared to have been part of the unit because they have been there so long to be that huge. Cannot fathom ever staying at that place again. A lot more to say but already wasted too much time and money on this place. Only positive- the trainee guy serving the snow cones at the pool on Friday was the only bright spot for the whole place. Marriott Ambassador member so I’ve stayed at my fare-share of properties to officially call this place a dump, unfortunate since the location is beautiful.
