Operating on a shoestring I booked this location for the club level, not knowing it was shut down along with the restaurant. The restaurant has been “temporarily closed “ for over a year. Now the website states it’s closed for “remodeling “. There is no work being done. The tables are set for service. There just isn’t any. There is no business center. The parking garage is cramped, there is no security, and it costs $16 per day. The cable doesn’t work. We were told they’re “working on it”. So why does Tonic restaurant a block away have cable? We can’t watch the news! It appears the only reason this hotel is in operation is because of the youth sports business. There are many teens and parents here. Marriott should be ashamed of this property. The hotel did reduce our nightly rate by $30. Inadequate, given that the lost amenities cost more than that per day on the open market.

Underwhelming and Unfriendly We stayed over a weekend with our dog. Its nice there is no dog fee! The room was renovated but they missed things like the bathroom door was beat up. It was somewhat strange. The wet bar faucet was leaky and annoying. The elevators were beat up potentially due to the renovation they appear to be going through. The parking was ridiculous. We have a small SUV and were too tall to fit into the parking. I do not think it is too much to ask to be able to park a small SUV in the parking garage. We ended up parking on the street which I wasn't incredibly comfortable with. The lounge is still closed as is the restaurant this seems like a problem this far into the pandemic especially at the rate paid. If the hotel is still going to be lacking some of those basic benefits for elite members the rate should be lowered to reflect such. The staff when checking in seemed bothered when I asked about parking etc. They didn't seem to have any interest in asking basic questions.

First and Last Stay We stayed at this hotel for a three day soccer tournament. The front desk is not friendly or accommodating. There wasn’t even a lukewarm hello upon entering for any guests. The few times we asked questions, they acted like it was a bother. For example, the one guy didn’t even know is there was a washer and dryer. The girl who did know there was a washer acted like she was painstakingly counting out change for me to use it. When I tried to wash my son’s stinky uniforms one afternoon the single washing machine that was just sitting in a hallway took my money but didn’t work. I was told that maintenance would be right up. After standing in the hall for 45 minutes with no maintenance arriving, I asked if the front desk would notify me when the machine was fixed. They said they’d call the room. After one day of waiting for the phone call, I inquired at the front desk only to be causally and unapologetically told it could not be fixed by the hotel because a third party handled that machine and the coin compartment must be full. The hotel garage is too low for an SUV. The front desk wasn’t helpful with alternative parking options when we figured that out the hard way the first night. Even though we paid for parking at the hotel, we had to search for parking on the street that first night and thereafter and walk the gamut of aggressive panhandlers the whole way to the hotel door each time we parked. We are titanium elite and have stayed at other hotels in the Marriott chain since COVID restrictions have been lifted and have found that club level and other things are now available at other locations. However, at this hotel, there continues to be no daily housekeeping here, the club level is closed and there is no breakfast. We also were not offered points or an amenity for our two rooms upon check in. Although our two rooms appear to be newly renovated, a slat on the bedroom door and the toilet paper rod are already broken. I will say when we called Marriott customer to complain, they were very understanding and made things right on their end. I wish them luck fixing the problems on site however.

Fine. when I say I think we got a lucky room, I mean it. Our room was clean and spacious, but teammates had issues with the AC breaking down and tv not working. At one point 1 out of the 3 elevators were working and let me remind you there are A LOT of floors. The area itself is very sketchy so make sure to be walking with someone at all times. The parking garage was very confined and every time we pulled out there was a chance of scrapping the car and adding to the hundreds of other scrape marks. Oh and smell of pot was a great aroma.

Good and Bad Room was fantastic except for all the food pieces under the pull out couch. Fitness room is outstanding. Location is poor in terms of having places to eat or walk to. The hotel overdoes the Covid restrictions; no breakfast, no bar, nothing in lobby at all. Park on the street next to the hotel and dont waste your money on the parking fee. Very noisy if your room is near the stairs. Elevators only allow you to go to your floor only on the way up so have fun walking up to the 16th floor if you need laundry.
