Not a luxury hotel First, Erica the Front Desk mgr was great as was the front desk staff Maria. 2nd, the view of the river is great, and the pool is nice. The negatives are this is marketed as a luxury hotel and it definitely isn't. I was in the newer tower and the hallway smelled pretty musty. My room smelled a little mildewy. The remote was sticky. There is a gap between the door and the floor. The decor is not great, no coffee maker, towel quality is pretty low. The grits were too salty to eat. Expected more and have gotten more from other Hilton properties that were not 'luxury'.

Stay elsewhere This hotel is needs to be updated. Rooms are not what are pictured online, the rooms are dark, outdated, dirty and small. The bathroom was dirty and needs to be cleaned much better. Couch had stains all over it and when we asked for extra blankets and sheets they arrived with blood stain.

Excellent and walkable hotel Really fun hotel and extremely comfortable beds! Also we loved the pool and the Board and Barrel restaurant downstairs. We ate dinner there 2/4 nights in Wilmington. Great location as well adjacent to river and nearby restaurants and cafes. Only downsides were that they charge $20 a day for parking, which I guess is due to the location (maybe $10 a day would be better, just to guarantee guests will have parking), and no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms, which was bad for us because we always seem to have leftovers. Still, I love this hotel and we’ll definitely be back!

Super Staff, Great Views, Perfect Place! Elegant, convenient and welcoming! The staff could not have been nicer. Since we had never visited Wilmington before, the staff were happy to offer advice on fun and interesting things to do within walking distance. The food and service is very good at the hotel; although the staff are eager to share their favorite places to eat for a change. The layout and safety at the hotel and pool area is top-notch and the décor is very relaxing. Great views, lots of places to relax within the hotel area which is located in the heart of historical Wilmington. Steps to everything you want to see or do!

Highly recommended A lovely hotel in a great location with a fantastic maritime themed lobby. We had a spacious room with a wonderful river view. The pool area was disappointing as it was cramped, not very clean and needs an update. Erica on reception was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her. The buffet breakfast was good value and Kaan was great, he made the best eggs and omelettes upon request!
