Superb BnB My friend and I were planning a dirt road bike tour when the weather didn't look to be cooperating for dispersed camping. In looking at lodging options, The Nutmeg Vermont was a perfect place to end our first soggy day on the road. Shelley and her husband were so accommodating! We were settled in our rooms quickly, provided a secure location for our bikes overnight, and even a ride into town for take-out since we didn't have a car. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic - definitely get the french toast! The rooms were clean and comfortable with Beekman 1802 products (!!!). The Nutmeg Vermont is on my short list of great places to stay in Vermont!

Our favorite inn. Great rooms and very hospitable and thoughtful staff. We’ve stayed here many times when visiting family and always feel welcome. The inn is well located and easy to get to. Right down the street from shops and restaurants. Treat yourself and stay for a while.

Friendly, welcoming, accommodating We came up to Vermont for the night to explore the area. The Nutmeg in welcomed us for a last minute stay. Shelly was kind and made sure we were comfortable. We stayed in a room with a living room, bedroom and private bathroom! Perfect for a family of 4 or 5. My kids loved "The Inn"! Thanks for having us!

Saved by the Nutmeg! I traveled to Vermont this weekend to ski with my husband and two children. We had booked a room at another inn about 10 minutes away and were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the quality of the place. I called a few hotels in the area and being a holiday weekend, everywhere was booked. Lucky for us, we happened to reach Shelly at the Nutmeg, and she very kindly was able to accommodate our family. Upon arrival at the Nutmeg, we were thrilled to enter the beautifully appointed, charming Inn. My children were excited to receive warm fresh chocolate chip cookies at check in. There are multiple spaces to eat, read or snuggle by the fireplace all allowing for a safe, socially distanced experience. The inn was very clean and followed Covid guidelines, making us feel very comfortable and safe. Shelly’s egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches with peppery greens was delicious, as was the French toast which fueled us for a day on the slopes. We hope to return very soon!

Nutmeg inn The inn is located in the perfect spot. Such a warm and cozy feel to it. The owners are absolutely wonderful, rooms and bright and clean, the breakfast is delicious!!! 10/10 would recommend this place.
