Adequate Weekend Experience I participated in a family get together in Windsor, Ontario and stayed at the Four Points Downtown Windsor for 2 nights over a weekend. There are short term parking spots to use in order to check in and then a winding path to the rooftop parking. The person who checked us in was friendly but seemed to be responsible for many things, which caused a number of interruptions to our check in experience. The room with 2 queen size beds was clean and had the basic amenities we needed. We choose a hotel with a pool for family get togethers so we can hang out together at the pool. When asked about pool availability, we were told that the pool was closed. I wish this had been made clearer in the registration process. We might return again when the pool was open.

Excellent hotel in downtown Windsor This is the best hotel I chose to stay at such a critical moment. The front desk employees are all courteous, helpful and supportive. They really consider the guests as family members as they are ready to provide any assistance to the hotel guests. The hotel is 5-minute walking to the lake facing Detroit. The downtown hotel even provides its guests with free parking. Immediately beside the hotel, it is filled with restaurants, Shopper Drug Mart, banks, a shopping center and convenient stores. Due to my waiting for a pick-up, the hotel is sufficiently kind enough to arrange me for an extended stay. That is really cozy and supportive gesture with the front desk girl's kindness in such a critical moment. With its excellent location, convenience to US border, and most importantly the polite and professional employees, plus cheapest hotel rate, it is always a big surprise for the guests to be luckily enough to find and stay at the hotel. The Four Points hotel shall have been a four-star hotel. The room is super clean, super quiet and super safe, with the most comfortable bed. I will certainly come back again for my next trip.

Beautiful but .... Nice hotel. Very clean and newly renovated. Staff super friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 503. Beautiful. However when we got up in the morning there was a disgusting stale garlic smell in the entire hallway on the fifth floor. If it smelled like that when we arrived we would have left. Management better figure out the problem. It’s a deal breaker for us in the future. Hence the three star rating.

Perfect for a staycation or city break I arrived on a recent Friday evening and was greeted by the beaming and happy Stewart. I immediately got the sense, he loved his job and was genuinely pleased to see me as a guest. The hotel impeccably clean as one would expect and well organized given the new normal that Covid19 which has forced everyone to adapt to. The room, linens and especially the bathroom beautifully renovated and in great shape and OMG the shower pressure is to die for, I could have stayed under the shower for much longer. Waiting for me was a lovely welcome note from the GM with a bottle of water, then back to the Front Desk for Stewart to suggest where I should go for dinner and he knew where to send me, needless to say I was not disappointed with his recommendations. Location ideal and very welcoming. The only minor issue was the corridors were a bit too warm...but again how long to spend in the corridors (LOL). PS: They have SMART TV's and you can connect your devices...so cool and PS: I forgot my toothpaste and they had these fun flat packs of toothpaste. Way too cool.

Clean But Tidy The hotel & room were spotless. However the washroom was way too tiny. We ate at the Finn MacCools. The service and food was exceptional. The front desk staff need to go to a customer service workshop, It’s hard to sleep hearing all the traffic zoom by, and the heater gurgle and buzz.
