Windsor Riverside Inn

Stay here only if Caesars is full This hotel used to be the Hilton. Now it is run down and a Best Western Plus. There is no room service - but, the breakfast is complimentary and there are many options. The front doors had a sign to use the back door. If you drive, there is paid parking across the street. The tuck shop has few options and no meals - just junk food. Every time I have to stay here, I wish I was at Caesars Windsor.

When In Windsor, Stay at Best Western Plus (Waterfront Hotel) This particular review is an easy one. Each and every time Sandy and I travel to the Windsor/Detroit area, it results in our staying at the Waterfront Hotel. In fact, whenever we're asked about accommodation in the area, it is always the same response, "stay at the BW Waterfront Hotel". We regularly travel to Windsor and the hotel has always provided us with excellent accommodation. The staff members are always friendly and helpful. The premises and amenities are always clean and in working order. The breakfast, while buffet style, it's always good, though it would be nice to see the hours of operation extended by an hour. That would make it easier for those of us that keep later hours. The location and view are superb from Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel location on Riverside Drive. So, unless or until something changes, anytime we're in Windsor you'll find us at the BW Plus. Thanks and safe travelling. Our last stay there was in May. Bluesfest weekend I always enjoy my stay here. We spent a night and walked over to the Keg for dinner and down to Bluesfest! We enjoyed our river view room it's a panoramic window view, especially beautiful lit up at night! Room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed here a few times for anniversary nights!!

Wonderful view Great location and wonderful view. Pick a high floor and a view of the Detroit river. Parking is just behind hotel. The hotel rates are semi-expensive but the hotel is modern and trendy. You are close to the casino and to all the best places to eat. Bascially you are downtown Windsor and you can walk to the various restaurants.

Excellent value for your money! Had a great 2 night stay here. Front desk at check in was friendly and helpful. Elevators were always available. Room was actually better than I expected for what I paid so it was a pleasant surprise. It was quiet and beds were comfy. Bathroom cleanliness had a little to be desired but rest of room fine. Breakfast was okay. Bacon was gone early and eggs were not great but waffles and coffee were awesome and it was free so cant complain about that. :) I would most definitely stay here again!! Great location as well.
