Fun little place Staff was friendly and the location is hard to beat for the money. Good jacuzzi and nice view of the mountain. The inside is definitely worn from frequent visitors, but it's clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The Busy Beaver Relaxed at the Village Except for the 3 flight hike everyday with musical gear, This place was very relaxing and quite. The only issue I had was how hot it was and the fans only really worked at night, but outside of that such nice accomendations.

A Complete Nightmare! Arrived with a friend from out of state and our experience was dreadful from start to finish. We were so displeased with service and the place it's self that we turned around and left. We had problems verifying our reservation, problems checking in and the place was dark and smelly. There were piles of old mattresses outside along with a couple toilets. It was apparent that people were living at this hotel. We'd also like to confirm that we agree with all the other negative comments made about this place.

Not my first choice.... It was on the lower end of average.....definitely an older property. Made me feel like I stepped back in time to a 70's ski resort. There are no elevators and lots of steps so be mindful of what floor you book. Entrances and stairs are outside with covering. I would bring my own bed linen. It is fully equipped as far as your kitchen basics. The area is beautiful and great for exploring and seeing the sites.

They don't let you put zero stars The surrounding area is quite nice (meaning the trails, ect). However, this is a review of the facility not the outdoors. As others mentioned it is very outdated, and really wonder how many repeat visitors they get. Amazing they can charge 120$ for this. As you can see from my other reviews, I am not typically negative. I suppose I really am not writing something that several others haven't. Outdated and rustic is one thing...but run down and poorly taken care of is a whole other thing. I can live with rustic, but not this. As others have mentioned it is very loud too as the walls are thin.
