EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE I think I have written two reviews in my life but had to in this instance. I have visited the Kalahari before and had a wonderful time. Now it seems that they are only about trying to pinch as much as money from you as possible. The cost of staying at this resort is already ridiculously expensive. However, once you are there, then you really start paying. $25 for one alcholic frozen drink (speciality cup) and $18 for refills. $7 for a slice of pizza. $10 for a pretzel with cheese. $50 for a pizza delivered to your room. $25 non refundable towel fee if you borrow one and don't return it to the waterpark before close of day (what is wrong with bringing it back to your room if you are at the same resort?). I went to eat breakfast while the kids were playing..the host told me it would be quick and I ordered eggs benedict and the restaurant was slow. It took half an hour and it was the smallest portion ever. Barely any potatoes and the English muffin was almost non existent. For this they wanted $14 and it was $5 for a 4 ounce glass of juice. My kids enjoyed the waterpark and the experience but that was the only good thing that came out of this experience for me. It seems they have turned into Disneyland and are all about the profit and how many people that they can fit into the park at the same time to nickel and dime you to death. Just like everything else in this country, it is all about the money. I am just disgusted and this will be our last stay at this resort.

Great park…dryers are awful Water park and hotel was great. My only complaint was there was only 2 sets of washer/dryers. The dryers take FOREVER to dry. My clothes are going one 1 hr and 30 min in the dryer and nowhere near dry and it’s 1:30am. If i knew this I would have never done laundry.

Great family fun. Great fun for the whole family and great food with several dining options right at the resort.
We had a couple issues while on site but the resort was quick to resolve after we left, thank you Lily! Looking forward to another visit soon hopefully.

Great hotel We spent one night at Kalahari after a stay at Mt Olympus due to rain and wanted an indoor water park.
We originally booked the Sand Suites (located very far from main building and water park) but were able to get upgraded to the Resort Side Suites which is just up the staircase in the main building. This was the biggest room we stayed in. It had two dbl beds, sofa bed and a small table with two chairs. It was nice to be so close to the lobby.
The indoor water park was good and there were a lot of tables for our big group, no need to book a cabana. Lines for the slides also went fairly quick.
We also did Tom Foolery which was a nice perk to have in the hotel. If you're booking a package on the website, add the Tom Foolery on check-out, it's cheaper than buying it after at the hotel, although they do give you a small discount.
Our rooms weren't ready upon arrival but we were able to use the indoor water park right away.
Went to Wayne's gym and it was very good. Had a lot of options and was well equipped compared to other gyms.
The hotel itself is very nice and has a lot of amenities, we would definitely stay here again. We never got to experience the outdoor water park but after doing the indoor and coming from Mt Olympus, I think this is geared towards younger kids (1-7).
Kids in our group that were age 9-12 enjoyed Mt Olympus slides better.

If you come here, DO NOT LEAVE! Loved it. Every single thing about this hotel is amazing. Only flaw, poop in the pool. Highly recommended due to the bathroom soap scents, the elephant towels, and amazing beds. The morning buffet also is full of amazing choices, but there is lots of dairy, (things from animals), and gluten though soooooooo-
