A hidden gem I learned about The Proctor Mansion in December 2023 after attending a screening of The Spirit of Christmas which was filmed there. PS If you haven’t seen the movie you are missing out. We decided to gift an overnight stay to our family friends for a girls weekend. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish. Derry was a great host and Katharine served a delicious breakfast in the morning. It was so fun to stay in the Peach room where many of the film scenes took place. Can’t wait to go back.

A great b&b in a great town This is a classic bed & breakfast, beautifully maintained and absolutely clean as a whistle. The personal attention by Derry the innkeeper was totally pampering. We enjoyed every minute. It was also a thrill walking the town's streets with its amazing historic houses. Some of the residents were so gracious and told us about the town's exciting past.

Absolutely Wonderful! OMG! What can I say. It was one of the most romantic getaways I have had in a very long time. This place is wonderful and the staff, well they got it together. We booked a spur of the moment getaway and it was worth it. Besides it being featured in the "Spirit of Christmas" movie, the house is beautiful. Especially this time of year. Your stay includes a breakfast, which was personally prepared for you. It is like a step back in time. It is worth every penny. We will definitely be back in the warmer weather to enjoy the garden.

Wonderful for an intimate wedding! The Proctor Mansion is a wonderful place to hold an intimate wedding! With no venue requirement to fill in seats, you can design your wedding YOUR way - all it takes is a little imagination and the right venders! The place is beautiful, and the staff is thoughtful and kind! I had everything a larger wedding had on a smaller scale. Spending a few nights at the inn after felt like a dream. Beds are comfortable, breakfast was lovely and accommodating to our needs. My husband and I are forever in love with the Proctor Mansion!

Great place to stay This was the last stop of this years three week holiday and we stayed three nights. This is a lovely old property with so much character. Our room was the Peach room which was dominated by a large (and comfortable) four poster bed and the other furniture was in keeping with this period room. We learnt about the history of the property which adds even more to the character. But what really made our stay special was the care and attention from our hosts who looked after us so well. Cannot praise them high enough. If you want a memorable stay in the Wrentham area then look no further.
