This was my husband and my first visit to the Vineyard. A planned anniversary treat we picked. It was a great experience the two employees were very friendly, greeted us as soon as we entered the building. One was the owners' daughter we mentioned knowing her father, she proceeded to send him a text as he was away at the time. It was a hot day we chose to have our tasting in the larger room. It was very comfortable. The large block of cheese was so good and our flight choices were amazing. After the tasting we did purchase 2 bottles of our favorites the Minnies Bubbles and Blueberry and Lewis returned a text of Hello and glad we stopped by :)
The 2 trips I have taken with this company were great. We saw numerous whales on the 1st trip along with a basking shark. We could see whales in whatever direction we looked. This trip was to Jeffrey's ledge. The 2nd trip we 1st encountered a large sea sunfish and then a very large group of at least 100 white sided dolphins which were all around us no matter where we looked. This time we had travelled to the Stellwagen Bank. We moved on from the dolphins and got to the see the behavior of two hump back whales . On the way to see the hump back whales we encountered a couple of minke whales. The naturalist on board was great at explaining what was and was not normally encountered. It was just great on both trips.
