There aren’t a ton of
Oklahoma City movies. The state’s most famous cinematic cameos have largely taken place elsewhere—
The Outsiders’ turf wars in
Tulsa;
Rainman’s Dustin Hoffman holding up traffic at a Guthrie crosswalk; and
Twister’s cyclones tearing up just about every town
but OKC. But that doesn’t mean locals can’t partake in the magic of the silver screen. There are plenty of movie theaters in OKC and the surrounding area, most notably the Moore Warren Theatre. There, movie memorabilia and classic theater decor really set the scene, as do two screens with full
meal and cocktail service.
