60-Minute Signature Tik Thai Combination Massage with Foot Scrub
Incredible experience.
I needed help with a tight neck that may be the cause of tingling in my arm and was glad to find Tik Thai Massage through Groupon. I am a traveler unfamiliar with the area. Surprisingly, when I called I got an appointment for the very next day -- at 6pm on a Sunday.
The massage therapist, Vaa (pronounced wah), applied "yoga massage" techniques.(They have a great article on their website that explains the different types.) I'm convinced Vaa has a thorough understanding of anatomy. She made me feel new. She manipulated my limbs, folding and pressing them, applying steady, firm, targeted pressures that relieved stiffness and pain I hadn't realized in all areas of my body. My feet were gently and thoughly scubbed. Attention was given to my comfort and to every joint and muscle as well as spinal alignment. Cricks were twisted out of my frame. I called her a chiropractor! Environment is warm, clean and calm. Nothing was rushed.
I was a bit confused upon arrival because the business's signage outside is unclear. When I went to the door, I was instructed to text my arrival then waited in my car until they texted me back to let me know they were ready for me, a bit after 6.
My favorite part was when Vaa offered me a hug following her hands on "workout," which I joyfully accepted. There were other meaningful and conscientious touches, as well... slippers, a spritz of hand cleaner before being escorted to my room, clothes hangers, soothing music, and multiple healing aromas. When I switched back to my own shoes, I was offered a small cup of warm water to drink and an individually wrapped sweet from Thailand.
So grateful I found Tik Thai and what I know now is the perfect type of massage for me.
I would say maybe the best deep tissue massage I’ve gotten and I’ve gone to several here in Santa Clara county as well as in Los Angeles where I relocated from. 10/10 would recommend!
