Wine Tasting Package for 2 People (6 Wine Tasting + Souvenir Glass per person)
This was my first using Groupon out of skepticism, but it was worth it. Enjoyed my entire 8/9 year anniversary today using it and making memories with my better half!
The proprietors, Carl and Donna, are super knowledgeable, very personable, and present their attendees with a 1st class experience in an absolutely beautiful property. Their pairing selections are always superb. The best part of their classes, is that they do not limit the experience to ONLY their home grown wines, but introduce superior wines produced by other vintners discovered by their sommelier
Andrew's extensive searches, as well. This was our 3rd class with them, and we will definitely be returning soon. My greatest concern, is that these classes will get so popular that there will be no room left for us! LOL
We had a wonderful afternoon at the vineyard. Seth was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide through the wine making process. Margaret was an engaging hostess for the wine tasting! Holly, the tasting room manager, made us feel welcomed and shared her wine expertise with us. We finished our tour with pizza and a bottle of their wine. I recommend this tour to everyone.
We had a great time at Cove Point Winery. Jack, an employee and server of our flights of wine was outstanding. Jack's performance was stellar. He made us feel very welcome and he was very courteous and respectful. We loved the 4 different wines we sampled and even bought a bottle of the Tropical Sangria which was our favorite. We will definitely make another trip to Cove Point Winery. The only negative was that we forgot to get the chocolates, and we didn't get a complimentary wine glass for the four of us.
