How exactly does this promotion work?

We're giving some really special people the opportunity to use a great discount on any Groupon purchase. Just find a deal you like (whether in the email, on the site, or on your mobile device), and we’ll automatically deduct the discount amount from the purchase price when you buy the deal before the expiration date included in our offer to you.

Does the discount apply to any kind of deal on Groupon.com?

The discount will be automatically applied to any deal purchased on the Groupon website, touch site or mobile app but does not apply to shipping or tax. Unfortunately, however, the discount cannot be applied to deals where the actual purchase takes place on a third-party site, such as certain Groupon Live events.

What if the deal I select costs less than the discount?

You will receive a discount on your purchase equal to the price of the Groupon voucher. Please note that any remaining discount amount will not carry over to subsequent purchases, or be applied to additional Groupon vouchers purchased for the same deal, even if purchased at the same time. For example, if the Groupon voucher you want to purchase with a $5 discount costs $3, you will receive a discount of $3 on that Groupon voucher but will not be able to receive a second $2 discount on a subsequent purchase, and will only receive a $3 discount (not $5) if you purchase two of those Groupon vouchers at $3 each.

Can I use the discount on multiple deals? How about multiple Groupon vouchers for the same deal?

Unfortunately, no. You cannot use the discount on multiple Groupon vouchers, even if they are for the same deal.

How long is this offer valid?

This offer is valid for a limited time only, so make sure you check the expiration date and time noted in your email.

Can I forward the offer email to a friend?

No - this exclusive offer is for you and you alone! We'd love it if you could get the word out about Groupon, but your offer is unique to you and will not work for anyone else.

Why am I not seeing the discount?

Because this is an exclusive offer for you and you alone, you will only receive the discount if you are logged into Groupon using the e-mail address that the promotional e-mail was sent to. Please double-check that the e-mail address you used to log in to your Groupon account is exactly the same as the e-mail address listed at the bottom of the promotional e-mail we sent you. If you're still not seeing the discount, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

I have a discount that covers my entire purchase. Why do you need my credit card information?

We need a credit card on file to make sure you're a real person and not a robot with ambitions for world domination.Your card will not be charged unless the voucher costs more than the amount of the discount, there are shipping fees or taxes, or you buy additional vouchers. Your discount can only apply to one voucher, so choose wisely!

What happens if I return the Groupon purchase I made with my discount?

If you return the Groupon purchase you made with the discount, you will only be refunded any additional amount paid beyond the discount amount. Any discount amount applied to your purchase (e.g. the $5 discount we apply to your purchase) will not be refunded.

What's the fine print?

This is a by-invitation-only offer to select Groupon subscribers. If you have been selected to participate, the discount amount will be automatically deducted at checkout from the purchase price (excluding shipping and tax) of any Groupon deal you purchase prior to the expiration date noted in the promotional email you received. This offer is exclusive to you and is not transferable. Limit one discount per customer. Groupon reserves the right to cancel, revoke, or otherwise recognize or award this offer in any suspected case of fraudulent use or misuse. Must have a valid credit card on file. Not valid with any other offer.
