Groupon Bucks are a form of Site currency redeemable only toward future Groupon purchases. Groupon reserves the right to discontinue Groupon Bucks or modify these terms. To accumulate and redeem Groupon Bucks, you must create, and maintain in good standing, a Groupon customer account registered with a valid credit card. Groupon Bucks do not expire. Unless required by law, Groupon Bucks are non-transferrable and are not redeemable for cash.
For example, if you have $10 in Groupon Bucks and the deal you want is $20, you'll end up paying only $10 with your credit card. On the other hand, if you apply the same Groupon Bucks to a deal that's only $3, your remaining $7 in Groupon Bucks will be applied to a future purchase automatically.

You can earn Groupon Bucks in a handful of other ways. For example, if you refer a friend to Groupon and they make a purchase, you could earn $10 in Groupon Bucks. We also send out offers to select groups of our best customers from time to time which include offers for Groupon Bucks.
You can check your Bucks balance in the "My Gifts" section of "My Stuff" on the drop-down menu located in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Nope. Any unused Groupon Bucks will stay in your account and will be applied automatically toward your next Groupon purchase.
