For a limited time, we’re offering select customers the opportunity to refer a friend to Groupon and earn $20 in Groupon Bucks when that friend subscribes to Groupon for the first time (within the following 72 hours), registers on the Site and makes an initial purchase of a Groupon offer priced at ten dollars ($10) or more (“Eligible Offer”), Groupon will deposit any Groupon Bucks you are eligible to receive, up to the Lifetime Program Limit, approximately 15 days after the Eligible Offer closes and is no longer offered for sale to the public. This is twice the usual reward! It’s our way of saying “thanks” for spreading the word about Groupon. But act quickly!

When a friend clicks your link, subscribes to Groupon, and buys his or her first Groupon deal, you will earn $20 in Groupon Bucks. No. In order to qualify for this offer, you must refer unique individuals other than yourself in accordance with the fine print. Attempting to refer yourself can result in disqualification from this offer and future Groupon offers.
The standard offer, available to everyone on Groupon.com, is $10 in Groupon Bucks for referring a friend who subscribes to Groupon and buys his or her first Groupon deal. But for a limited time, we’re doubling that to $20 in Groupon Bucks for select customers.
We’ll need to verify that each friend you refer has clicked your link, subscribed to Groupon within 72 hours, and bought his or her first Groupon deal, so you’ll receive your $20 in Groupon Bucks within 15 days (once each deal closes and the purchases are confirmed).
