For a limited time, we’re offering select customers the opportunity to refer a friend to Groupon and earn $30 in Groupon Bucks when that friend subscribes to Groupon for the first time (within 72 hours of clicking your personal referral link) and buys his or her first Groupon deal by the expiration date noted in the promotional email you received. This is three times the usual reward! It’s our way of saying “thanks” for spreading the word about Groupon. But act quickly!
Currently this offer is by invitation only. But have no fear – Groupon is all about rewarding our best customers, so be on the lookout for other great offers in the future.
If you were invited to participate, check your email for a message from Groupon Rewards. You’ll see a special link enclosed in the message – it’s your personal referral link. Send that link to friends and family via any method you choose, whether email, Facebook, Twitter, or IM. When a friend clicks your link, subscribes to Groupon, and buys his or her first Groupon deal, you will earn $30 in Groupon Bucks. You can also access your link by signing into your account on Groupon.com.

The standard offer, available to everyone on Groupon.com, is $10 in Groupon Bucks for referring a friend who subscribes to Groupon and buys his or her first Groupon deal. But for a limited time, we’re tripling that to $30 in Groupon Bucks for select customers.
We’ll need to verify that each friend you refer has clicked your link, subscribed to Groupon within 72 hours, and bought his or her first Groupon deal, so you’ll receive your standard $10 in Groupon Bucks within 24 hours and your bonus $10 in Groupon Bucks within 96 hours of your friend’s purchase (once the deal closes and the purchase is confirmed). All rewards are subject to the return policy below.
If you've already received your first $10 in Groupon Bucks for referring a friend to Groupon (under this offer), don't worry, you should receive your bonus $20 in Groupon Bucks within several days.
In order for you to earn $30 in Groupon Bucks, your friend will need to click the link, subscribe to Groupon within 72 hours, and buy his or her first Groupon deal on or before the expiration date noted in the promotional email you received. If your friend subscribes to Groupon and buys a first Groupon deal after the expiration date noted in the promotional email you received, you’ll still earn the standard in $10 in Groupon Bucks.

In order for you to earn $30 in Groupon Bucks, your referral must click your personal link (via the steps above, subscribe to Groupon within 72 hours, and buy his or her first Groupon deal. Groupon Bucks will be awarded to the email address to which we sent the original invitation to participate, and are not transferable to other Groupon members. You may earn a limit of $30 in Groupon Bucks per friend you refer. Groupon reserves the right to cancel, revoke, or otherwise prevent the issuance of Groupon Bucks in any suspected case of fraudulent use or misuse of this offer, with or without notice to the user in question. Offer ends 11:59 PM PT on the expiration date noted in the promotional email you received.
