While Aliexpress is a legit and safe shopping platform, experiences can vary based on individual merchants. Customers may run into situations where orders are of a lesser quality than expected, or where merchants are unresponsive and fail to ship items. Luckily, AliExpress has a buyer protection policy that will ensure you get a full refund in these types of scenarios. You can also limit your risk of dealing with untrustworthy merchants by reading buyer reviews and only buying from merchants that have a high positive feedback rating (90% or above) and high number of items ordered. 

If you’re worried about using your credit card on AliExpress, you can load funds into a payment system called AliExpress Pocket to safeguard your information when making purchases.

How Long Does Aliexpress Take to Ship?

Aliexpress shipping times will vary depending on the merchant, but items typically arrive within 15–45 business days for standard shipping and or 7–15 days for premium shipping. Some verified merchants will offer a guaranteed shipping time, which you’ll see on their product page. 

How Do You Track an AliExpress Order?

After you place your order and your payment has been accepted and verified, the seller will ship your items and send you a tracking number. To check the status of your delivery;

1. Go to “My Orders” in your account.
2. Click “View Detail” for the order you’d like to track. 
3. The tracking details are under “Logistics Information” and should display information similar to what’s above. 

How Do You Cancel an AliExpress Order?

As long as your order has not shipped, canceling an order through Aliexpress is quite simple. 

• Log into your account and go to the “My orders” section.
• Click “Cancel Order” if your payment has not been verified and the order has not shipped.

If your payment has already been verified or the order has shipped, you’ll need to contact the seller in order to cancel your order or receive a refund.

How Do You Delete an AliExpress Account?

If you’d like to permanently delete your AliExpress account, you can do so by doing the following: 

1. Log into your account and click “My AliExpress”.
2. Click on “Account Settings”, and then click “Edit Member Profile”.
3. Click on “Deactivate Account”.
4. When prompted, type in your email address and the words “Deactivate my account”.
5. Choose your reason for deleting your account from the list provided, or choose “other”.
6. Click “Deactivate My Account” to finalize the process.
