Not sure what to do with that pile of used ink cartridges you have sitting around? Help out the environment by recycling them! Office Depot makes it easy by accepting all brands of ink and toner cartridges in-store and by mail. And if you’re an Office Depot OfficeMax rewards member, you can turn those old cartridges into a little spending money. Below, Groupon Coupons explains how Office Depot’s Ink & Toner Recycling works and how you can earn rewards.
Savings Tip: Save on your next order of office supplies, furniture, and electronics with our collection of Office Depot coupons.
Office Depot will accept any brand of cartridges from any store—even if they weren’t originally purchased from Office Depot. You can recycle them one of two ways:
In-store: Just bring your used cartridges to any Office Depot’s 1,100 stores nationwide and an associate at the register will take them.
By mail: You can also recycle by mail. Print a prepaid UPS shipping label here, package your cartridge up, and drop it off at your local UPS store.
Get Up to $20 Back Each Month
Become an Office Depot Rewards Member and get $2 back in rewards for every ink or toner cartridge you recycle. You are limited to 10 cartridges per month, for a maximum of up to $20 in rewards. To get the rewards, you’ll need to make a $10 qualifying purchase from Office Depot during the same month. The rewards are paid out monthly as an online rewards certificate, which you can use to save on your next order at Office Depot.
