Music in and near Denver, CO

When thinking of the best places to see Denver concerts, Red Rocks Amphitheatre often springs to mind, and for good reason. Naturally formed from the ocean floor over millions of years, the amphitheatre’s dusky red walls contain fragments of various dinosaurs and provide a stunning backdrop to acts of all caliber. But as picturesque as it is, Red Rocks isn’t the only notable venue in town. Downtown Denver plays home to the more traditional Pepsi Center, a behemoth of an arena that—in addition to serving as headquarters to the Denver Broncos—regularly hosts the biggest names in music, from classic rockers like Rush to modern Billboard toppers including Imagine Dragons and Nicki Minaj.
